Morlan's shorts:

A short docu-game about the coup to overthrow the government in Iran in 1953, presented through a simple game. The art, taken from originals and collage'd together, is wonderful. There are just a few puzzle-like actions that you can do to progress the story. The music isn't original but fits the sentiment of the story. You play for the story, It's well done and gives you incentive to look into the historical facts..

Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!

A refreshing view on historic events not often discussed. A shining example of a simple game communicating something profound and powerful. Absolutely worth your time.

amazing artstyle and music. It's like a museum exhibition but it's digital and it has interactive gameplay as a cat who messes around (I love cat it's funny and silly).

Tells a good story. RIP to everyone involved in this part of history. Truly the impact of OIL and industrial society.

I walked into this game expecting, well, a game, but it's more of a brief history lesson/interactive art piece with little puzzles embedded throughout. The imagery and choice of music fits perfectly together and really conveys a bleak/dreadful tone. Only problem: you can't change the master volume in the game. Fantastic job.
