Amazing mecha customization. Gameplay & story are pretty bad. Play this to have fun with a custom mech, everything else isn't worth your time. To upgrade your mech or to find visual customization parts, you have to farm 50+ hours for all of them on specific missions. Campaign itself is about 10 hours or less.

Gameplay-wise, it's really bad. Enemies are just obnoxiously tanky. All you're doing is parrying or boosting out of enemy attacks while slowly chipping away their hp. The game is designed around Easy mode because higher difficulties are not harder but just take a ♥♥♥♥ ton more time. You can beat the boss rush mode in a clean 4-5 minutes on Easy mode. On Very Hard, you have to do the exact same thing but now it takes 16-20 minutes of your time. The problem is that there is no difficulty in the first place, you don't have to put much skill or thinking in order to succeed.

If you want a challenge, the only thing you're getting is an endurance battle where you deal jack all damage against an AI you can easily avoid or handle. Story-wise, it's generic trash isekai. Objectively obnoxious and boring interactions that you may or may not like.

The entire game is just an annoying grindfest to get to the customization, it isn't that enjoyable. If you think you can endure the grind, the customization is pretty cracked. Otherwise, it's not worth it. Any AI or gameplay changes they make are pointless because the core gameplay has always been bad. All the changes do is just force you to spend more time just to play the game. Spam out an boss AI repeating the same 5 super readable moves for 8 minutes. The next update is one that makes certain AI more aggressive, so now it'll take you 10 minutes because you need to spend more time dodging. Difficulty didn't go up, just the time expenditure.

It wasn't always like this, it used to be a pretty good power fantasy with lots of cool skilled tech you could learn to give yourself an edge. Unfortunately, certain people in charge of balancing felt the game was too easy so they just multiplied their HP and nerfed your toolkit. If you're lucky enough not to know how the game used to play, the gameplay might pass as mediocre. It's bearable enough if you like the mecha customization factor but man does it suck.
