Full Metal Jacket & Binary Monarch - Ammo Recharges in active mags, not spare ammo caches.

Full game - Version 0.5.7 Windows - USB XBox 360 Controller

While testing the mentioned parts in a level, I noticed that the part ability gains ammo at the weapon's current magazine, rather than refilling through the spare ammo count that is usually filled by picking up drops from the enemy.

I suspect that it is an unintentional bug, as reloading the weapon before the recharge timer would result in the ammo not being resupplied, resulting in unfortunate circumstances of not having spare ammo to reload but active ammo is being replenished on set times.

For easier reproduction, using full-auto bullet shooter and ray energy shooter would drain the ammo fast enough to make a reload before the timer. The spare ammo count is reduced and moved to the active ammo count. Wait 30 seconds and observe the spare ammo count. Both shooters do not have their spare ammo replenished.

Then use the full-auto bullet and energy shooters and fire as long as possible. In the case of the bullet shooter, do not reload. Wait until the active ammo count is replenished. In the case of the energy shooter, watch the active ammo count being replenished while shooting to see the periodic increase in count.

Can someone repeat this experiment and verify I am not the only one with this observation?

I can also confirm this is happening. I thought Binary Monarch wasn't working at all, but it appears to work on the primary mag. Of course, this makes it have very limited utility. I too hope/assume this is a bug.

Even in this version I can confirm only the active mags get refilled, not the spare ammo cache... if was unintentional.

Unless the primary mag is supposed to be a way to nerf those nodes, I report it as a bug until confirmation says otherwise. I can tell you I have been playing this game long enough to accumulate credits and tested those builds personally.

I use the Xbox 360 controller for range builds and most melee builds.
