alternative to waifu helpers?

I'm playing the demo and I enjoy the idea of the game but holy, the generic, big titty anime girl is just cringe as hell. I just can't do it. I'm all for the waifus, but not if you're going to go that far over the top with the jiggling. Please tell me there are mods are other options!

It IS early access. There are many things to be added and change for the final version so I say we give them time. :)

I'm in no hurry at all, but I'd rather just a dialogue box with just a face instead of the jiggling silliness that is in the demo currently. that said, I appreciate the work the artist(s) have done, and by no means to I mean to insult their work. It's just over the top for my tastes.

I think it's less that their busts are smaller and more that their clothes aren't boob socks anymore.

I think you misunderstand. I don't mind porn, I've got quite a collection of lewd games, it's more that in this circumstance, it looks ridiculous and like a budget mobile game.

Personally I never had any issue with the content or the images, the fact it seems like everyday someone somewhere is offended by something makes me wonder how we survived this long as a species.

Asking for things to change because they don't meet your tastes falls in line with what censorship is. Even the more mundane or widely accepted forms of it.

Personally I think censorship is a complicated issue. I'd much rather not censor companies and just not buy or support things that I think cross the line of what I think should be marketed, but at the same time there are certain subjects where I don't think it's good to have anyone marketing them.

In the case of M.A.S.S. I don't really think there's much wrong with the game, but I do think some of the character designs are very silly and take away from how I feel about the game. If they wanted to tell me a story I am supposed to take seriously, they've failed on multiple levels (not just the art), and they just ended up with me being thankful the story and characters are such a minor part of the game.

the characters are getting new art with a patch from what they told us.

i've seen wayyyy worse character design than that tbh, Genshin Impact comes to mind.

This makes me sad.

I've really been enjoying this game. It reminds me of the sort of thing I would have made when I was 13 years old (if I had the ability), and it is glorious. The writing is cringey and dreadful, the characters are all beautiful, the women have slim waists and huge breasts, the men have chiselled jaws and bulging muscles; and the game play is all about being a ridiculously powerful mech that cuts through anything and everything. It is glorious.

It is a call back to the 90s and early 00s, a simpler time where men were men and women were women, and violence was a good thing.

Something happened around the mid 00s; I think it was smartphones and the normalisation of video-games, and the subsequent creation of 'geek/nerd culture'. Now everything is gay. Take me back! Let me enjoy the huge titties and ridiculous combat!

personally I had no issue with the original art style, but in crowds like this there's always that one person that finds something offensive.

sadly that 1 person turns into 2 then 3 etc.
