Modding?
So is it possible that this game may have some mods? because I can see that this game would be great for mods like additional missions, additional parts, or gameplay modification.
so is it possible?

No, as this game is still in development. Also, the devs have denied mods/modding in the AMA's, I believe.

Mods will not be officially supported but as with any other game in existence, they will most likely be made anyways. Probably not until after the game fully releases though. I'm also looking forward to seeing what kinds of things people will add using their creativity.

Really? Oh wow thats truly disappointing, since I was excited for modding because its a stronger possibly for new armors, frames, weapons and launcher etc. from the community.

truly disappointing

Honestly, after following this topic often on the Discord (which included members of the team writting too) I'm not so sure it's because the Devs don't want it rather than because it would mean people can include new decals, which directly goes against one of the Kickstarter pledge of paying for having your decals in-game. I'd too like to see modding, as I believe that when it works it significantly boost a game life-expectancy, but I can understand why they'd want to play it safe.

Also, it could be due to copyright. Someone makes a True Zaku armor set and Bandai comes down with the copyright hammer. I will ask in the Discord to see if I can get a more direct statement as one of the devs is in said Discord.

Ok here it is, from XsiChan, one of the developers.

" "Workshop support is not in consideration due to various factors including backers exclusivity in some parts of their creation. We want to reward backers who helped us since the start and we want their stuffs to be exclusive since they’ve helped us out."

To further clarify, we do no mind single-player modding and all of that, just do it if you know how to do it, share it if you like with your friends or online (ie. nexusmods, etc.) but we will not create a steam workshop for official modding of any type. There are people who paid for that stuffs to be in-game and we'd like to keep it that way to honor them helping us out. "

aw, well i guess we can get the modding in the near future, just not expecting it to be here in steam then

No "mod support" doesn't mean game won't have mods.
Nioh 2 doesn't have mod support either, but there are tons of mods.
Also this is single player offline game, it's not like you will get banned from it anyhow for anything.

Not exactly. There will be a PvP and Co-op, so (as stated in the post above) they don't care about people making mods, I assume as long as they won't interfere with said PvP/Co-op.

Well there is Dark Souls franchise that also have PvP and Co-op, and every game has tons of mods too, including gameplay changing ones.
It's up to you if you want to keep your game vanilla, not up to devs.
I'm just hoping to mod out the character portraits when a nexusmods page is eventually made. the anime style isn't really my personal preference.

I was wondering why some of the decals looked... bad. Considering the kickstarter obligation, I'm guessing we won't see many new decals, or any decal tweaks (larger decal size cap).

Then perhaps you've seen very few? There is a sizable amount, and they can get pretty big if you turn the scale to max. (Enough to span a entire shoulder piece, I believe.)

I haven't, actually. Seen few, that is. I'd just like to be able to use a single decal to cover the bottom-half of a 150-scale layered plate. That's probably too much. Pic for reference.
