M.A.S.S. Builder

Here's my review for the current DEMO.
The game is fairly good, but seemingly that it was also developed by the same country that made "Project NIMBUS" and it being an indie development team, there would be a bit of flaws and room for improvement.

Video gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_5e41vRV-4

So here's some of my inputs on the demo.
Pros:
+ High Speed action Mecha game.
+ Multiple customization options for your Mech.
+ You can actually BUILD YOUR OWN Mech.
+ You can also design your own weapons and its attributes.
+ Very optimized and can played smoothly at max settings (for this demo).
+ Diverse development tree... probably.
+ there are animu girls in this game.

Cons:
- As a mech combat game, and being biased to GUNDAM games, some of the movements seems abrupt and not normal.
- The boost seems abrupt as well, should be like from a slow boost to MAX boost, not just WOOOOOOSH immediately.
- The designs for the "Quarks"(aka GRIMMS from RWBY) seems a bit basic... maybe on some later designs in the main game would be better.
- No voiceover... YET.
- The HUD in combat should be more responsive. Targeting enemies with F and having to disengage and THEN press F again to target the next enemy is not good.
- HUD related as well, maybe add incoming attack arrows in the HUD for awareness of attacks if the player isn't looking towards the enemy.
- An option to toggle damage indicators to either stack or just show them individually on the enemy target only would also be a good addition.

All in all, its basically another indie mecha game. It still needs a lot of improvements and more features, but as it is trying to be what it wants to be... maybe its not so far for us to have a multiplayer mecha action game with our own mech designs.

I hope after this comes out, we can still keep our mech designs from the demo(as a special gift for testing it out 😀 ) or at least have the template for it available for us to build it after getting the components.

Good luck game devs. Oh, and PS. Don't bring this to Epic Store.

I don't believe there is any relation to project nimbus whatsoever.

There is none, but their developer's country of origin is the same. Thailand.

What does that have to do with anything?

Well, i have seen how indie game devs from Thailand; make and execute their work. Seeing this kind of reminded me of the quality of work i got from the early release of Project Nimbus. I thought, maybe this game was made by the same devs? Or maybe the same country? In which i did check after playing the game(fund their kickstarter btw) and it turns out i was correct.

Call me stereotyping, but thats just my observation.
