Barbarian and Mana
I think that there should be some kind of benefit for Barbarians and mana items. Maybe a small health conversion rate? I mean they're going to replace it as soon as its possible but I've sat in full mana gear as a barbarian and couldn't help but be bitter it does NOTHING for me. Unlike mages who have the option of suffering a magic penalty for wearing melee preferred equiptment.

I haven't played this game too much but of the 4 classes I've tried the barbarian is my least favorite. It seems like he shares too much of the warrior's abilities too.

It also sucks because even though the 3 chests you can choose from have been made more applicable to characters, its different for barbarian. How likely are you to still get three chests that all rely on mana based moves? I like the rage mechanic but since Barb is the only one who has it, the rest of the game just isn't planned for him. Warrior and Rogue still use mana and can always grab a confusion/charm box to instantly make them more viable.

Barb is my favorite class because of the different playstyle compared to ALL the other classes, and as for mage gear, I don't find a problem with it, as most of the time it won't make too much of a downside because you can always sell it to buy better gear. And the Elemental robes add resistance to their respective elements, which means they can be used by them.

The Dev knows that the lack of any magical ability with the Barbarian does close a lot of options for the class, and is trying to hash out how best to balance that.

How about mana is consumed when bezerk, adding extra damage until depleted?
