Zero water bug. This is game breaking.
Water is always at 0. This means i can't use the furnace or the forge as both require water. I have wells, vats filled with water next to the furnace and forge and water buckets in storage but it still says 0. When i try to produce a weapon the water quantity on the right will say 0(-100). So right now i can't make my own weapons, i am stuck using the weapons of those that attack me. The only things i have been able to make in the furnace is the bars that don't require water but use beast blood but i still can't use them to make a weapon because weapons require water. I have tried completely deleting the game and reinstalling it as i have seen some other post about this same thing happening. Has anyone else been having this issue as well?

Might be a stupid question but did you build a well? Even if it says 0, your disciples need a well and they will draw as needed and fill the vats. Make sure the well is auspicious.

Maybe build vats around the station?
Haven't checked that yet.

That sucks man, really odd it keeps happening if you reinstalled the game. what happens if you put a display stand near the forge and put a bucket of water on it and then remove it so it drops on the floor there?

Thing is it will always say 0 water, I don't think I've seen it not say 0 water but I haven't looked either. I would double check the forge and furnace access points, even move them to an area with nothing around. As well as deleting the old structure and making another. Probably fastest way to rule out stuff like that would be a screenshot of your furnace/ forge setup.

Could also try doing a new save to see if the problem persists as that would be a strong indication that something else is messing it up, such as lingering mod traces.

weird do you have anyway to recreate it?

I have tried just about everything you suggested. I have made new saves with 0 mods and even then the mods i have been using have nothing to do with inventory, the mods i have been using are more grid info and one that reveals the map.

I don't know what you mean by recreate it, it's been like this from the start. It has simply never worked.

Dude it will literally always tell you that you have 0 water, but you are still able to craft stuff. As long as you have a well, you don't have to worry about water ever again. Just put stuff that you want on craft, and they will bring water there

Can confirm this bug

In my games it happens every once and a while. Though I can not reliably recreate it.

The smith puts water the furnace with the metal but the water doesn't register. The disciples will also not get more water because there is already water in the furnace.

The easy fix is to cancel what's being crafted, the water will fall out, and then just start it again and usually it works.

Is there a way to send in a save file? Maybe the bug will persist over a save.

Yeah the water bug ignores any water that is in a stockpile too which should be the first case of use.

I have never stockpiled water on purpose...so can't comment there. Only water I have stockpiled is due to the bug and people stockpiling the water that gets dumped

I have the same bug, canceling production and adding it again doesn't help. I have same thing happening both with smelting furnace and kitchen stove. And both worked just fine till winter season.

Perhaps try rebuilding them? I am not sure...I don't seem to get the bug in my current game now...it's a very random bug it seems

Found a temporaty solution:
- canceled production task
- waited till my outer disciple brought water, that fell out from workstation, back to storage (if I would make another production task immedialy, they would just put back 1 water into workstation and it would show 0 water needed again)
- then I added task back in and my peon brought correct ammount of water this time.

I think it happens when peon brings partial water requirement for item production to a workstation, and workstaion gets flaged as if it doesn't need any more materials.
