2) The fastest I have is a T4 monster bear @ 17.83. I would guess a snake one is probably going to see the fastest, but just *guess*.
I've only seen bizarre spirit contract results from the RNG so far. Tier on the contract not really correlating with move speed bonus or even inverted.
I don't think the contract matters for the max qi bonus (GC+ users get a pretty big max qi bonus from having a contract). I've swapped contracts on people and so no change in that so I think the bonus is flat for have/not have spirit contract.
The primordial bonuses might be more tier-driven.
The always ride thing is mostly not good unless you get some really great contract. My guys all move faster not riding them, even though they look cool.
Another issue seems to be a bug where Innate Qi (and I'd guess similar animated 'fireball-like' effects) travel at the move speed of a turtle if you are casting them while riding a contract.
I dont have much use for them except for the move speed in sect map. Guess i will keep a lookout for snake monster.
But... you can't refine them. You can, it just won't help.
The worst you can get around 30-ish but at average will increase movement speed around 45-ish
I sit on my slowpoke turtle with my turtle cultivator and shrug off all damage.
If you are still cultivating, a frog is good. Qi sense.
Tiger, bear or wolf for artifact mastery/battle.
Fyi, this info is available via in game help...
