How to create artifacts?

How do you go about making items that charge qi quick enough to be converted to artifacts? I was lucky and had one on hand for my first inner disciple but now have no idea what to do for my others.

Uhm... what? If you're just asking about how to create artifacts, you need a crafting table under the sect build menu, then, with an inner disciple, you can click craft on the hotbar, click on an item you want to make into an artifact and then he will do it.

No I know the basic mechanics. But I have no items I can convert. How do I go about doing that?

The qi cost is dependent on the tier of the item in question. If your inner disciple has a low amount of qi they cannot turn high tier items into an artifact.

At first you might have to turn an offcut into an artifact. Try a brownstone offcut.

Be prepared for lots of failed attempts. They need to increase their artifact crafting skill by a lot to have a decent chance.

Also make sure the crafting table has good feng shui. It would be worth it to make it Highly Auspicious.

be prepared to think outside the box for artifacts as well. You can make them out of simple things like offcuts or even poop. Almost any item can become an artifact if you have enough qi to make it one.

Starting out, it's probably easiest to use offcuts of various elements as artifacts.

Thank you! This helped me figure something out that was obvious.. My first disciple has a ton of qi while the other two dont, that's why I couldn't create with them. I kept thinking it was based on the items qi, not the disciples. I am dumb.
