For earth element break room you would probably need Fire bars(the ones made with beast blood) up close and spirit wood further out(with a sprinkle of jade essence at range 3 if feng shui allows it), with something like soul pearl or Frost Powder(2.5 times stronger temp impact compared to ice crystal bars) on stands somewhere far off.
What do you mean by "irrelevant" part of the room? Do you mean outside of the element radius?
Okay, im gonna try that, my rooms tend to be on the small side so i try to avoid mixing different elements so my feng shui isnt messed up. Guess if i build it bigger i can have water in a fire room as long as they dont touch my feng shui objects?
That is correct. The Feng Shui of the room only depends on its Key furniture components feng shui - so you can have both Fire and Water breakthrough formations in the same room (just make sure their feng shui(range 3) doesnt overlap(so in a way you can use a part of the outer layer of spiritwood for both).
Edit: For refference Range 1 in this game means the original central square, while range 2 means adjecent ones. Prependicular squares are at range 3(and 4).
I have some stands right against my cultivation diamond holding soul pearls. The diamond has crimson fruit and copper bars around the middle. The outer layers are spirit wood. It works out nice since the pearls go fine right against the wood and also cool the fruit heat.
Alright, guess that requires further experimentation on my part. This game is still largely a friggin mystery with what i can do and where to get certain stuff.
That's interesting. Good tip!
This was *very* useful. I've built little "cooling" or "heating" alcoves in my rooms, and it balances the temperature perfectly.
Similar to Fire into Stone into Metal then into Water... It's equally as efficient.
Also of note is that you can move the QI Cushion, remove an item from an adjecent stand and ban it, and move the cushion back into place, to further add Qi Gathering/feng shui affinity to that central tile.
Feng shui has in game range of 3 not 2, meaning 2 tiles to the sides, up and down and one prependicular tile across between the 'arms'.
