how do you actually gamble with this guy when the secret pops up? every time ive tried he just ignores whoever i send. the description mentions that 'he takes hundreds of years of life' from immortals, so i assumed you needed to send someone with a long lifespan, or someone carrying life extending pills/items. neither of these things worked, so now im stumped. anyone figured it out?

I've had the same issue. Maybe it is a gender issue. Could be he ignores Male characters. Plus high luck might be the problem too...

Hmm, it might be a gender thing then. I sent a female disciple and the event worked normally - ie you do stick predictions to gamble, if you win you get a random item if you loose your lifespan gets 60 years shorter. If you win 3 times in a row(or maybe just 3 times in general) he says he had enough and kicks you off, but you can go again as event wont disappear.

EDIT: Though she had a great luck as well.

Same problem, I sent a Primordial Female with 3k lifespan and he ignored her.
