Possible Trojan

Mongoose.exe keeps getting flagged as a Trojan whenever I download this game, is this a false positive?
I have no mods installed.

i don't have a mongoose.exe with amazing cultivation sim, you may have a different problem causer trying to use steam.

I don't know if it's a false positive for not, but it's in the base game files and it gets flagged for me too. What anti-virus are you using, mine's bitdefender?

Yeah I'm using Bitdefender, when I redownloaded the game yesterday the APIDoc.rar file got flagged instead.

Most likely a false positive. Mongoose is is just a network library that provides APIs for various protocols. It seems they had this issue for a long time now:

If you want to err on the side of caution: Just don't unpack APIDoc.rar and run the .bat or Mongoose.exe, or simply delete the archive. It's just utilities to help modders anyway and does literally nothing for normal players.
