Some suggestions
I am pretty early on so I don't know if it gets better in reguards to these or if they are there in some form but here are my thoughts.

I would love to see some RPG like elements and/or I would love an Adventure Mode like in dwarf fortress where you can travel around the cultivations world. I also would love to see this have more aspects of it that are like the Story Generators genre. Though it is similar to others like Dwarf Fortress and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead; it seems to be missing the epic story that evolve out of those games game-play. Maybe I am just not far enough in yet to see it but if it is not more like this I would love to see it become more so or hear when I will see stories evolve from game-play in this. Story Generators are awesome and feeling like a real character with skills and abilities that can explore the world world be amazing. Maybe some immortal level stuff like you see in the Xianxia would be fun especially if you could become one and alter things for others. It would be nice if there were more magical and fantasy elements to it like the books, they really capture the mystery of cultivation in magical ways and that might make the game more dynamic and add more then the day to day of cultivation.


I find that I cannot wait for my people to do stuff like build. I currently have bedroom's that aren't being built and I seem to have all the requirements so I assume it will just take time to get around to it even though I have set building a priority it doesn't seem to be a priority so I would suggest a way to tag a space or building or item or group of them and say do this now on those selected items.


You need a boatman and other mysterious benefactors or other mysterious people with special abilities who who give special abilities or other special stuff to your main or people. I would love to see the influence of the boatmen and etc... that secretly do stuff in the world and may help you out in unusual ways.

Another one is I would get to the xianxia and other fun stuff earlier, I am still pretty much near the start, am confused but slowly learning(aka the info and tutorial aspect cold be better on the hows, whys, and what you can do), but I sense some cool stuff coming especially in the fantasy and immortal type stuff so I would make it happen earlier, it seems like cultivation books ramp up pretty quick to the fun stuff so I would try to add more of that earlier but not to spoil the best stuff later so the pacing could be better and what makes me special could be made better!

I also thought that the info that is dispersed has a little historical feel to it, especially the laws and powers, and I had hoped for a more mystical feel to it. I would not want to lose the history feel but I would like to see everything have a more magical mystical bent to it.

Better ways to eval and understand and modify alignment. I am not sure all the ins and outs of alignment yet but what I have seen seems to show me being evil and I don't know how I got that way, I thought I was doing good things so a better way to work with alignment would be valuable for individuals and sects.

Also, I seem to have alot of trouble with mental state and breakdowns and such and have no way to know how to work with that so for this and stuff like this I would make more intuitive ways to develop and correct all the stuff like this.

I don't know how much is done yet on personalities but I would add a personality mini game where each disciple has personality traits that can be modified like I assume good vs evil works but better and with many personality traits so that I can have cultivators they way I want them from a personality trait perspective.

A couple more I thought of:

I want to feel like the main character and be important and currently I feel like just another cultivator or sect...

I also feel like alot of stuff takes way too long to accomplish, overall I would work on pacing so the game has a faster feel to it but still maintains what it needs for game-play longevity.

the game should grab you sooner and keep up the pacing of excitement so at 20 hours you are drawn to more play. The progression should also be more natural so that it feels less like a struggle to learn it and more like a progression of learning as you play. Having said that I feel compelled to continue as I like that there is always something to learn, its just the presentation that I feel is the problem. Things should happen earlier and more often and more resources should be available to help those who are tired of the grinding and trail and error.

Try to uncover the story and reason behind your old sect destruction.
You need to adventure to almost all sects to find clues, uncover important npc traits and personalities so they can open up and give you the clue.
And since its has time limit, if you passed them then some story will be lost.

Thanks for the tip Strauss, i'll try to find out more. I may have already lost out on some of that. I'll have to start over and try to pay more attention to the stuff that has a time limit, seems too easy to miss stuff so far though.

My thought on this is that the game shouldn't be that hard to do, with that many hoops for what seems like basic info. Plus if I was not told about this I may have missed it so making stuff like that easier to run across in game would be useful instead of hearing about it on forums.

Posted on another thread but thought it would do better under suggestions so here it is:

I keep hearing about nuances or discoveries that aren't necessarily obvious but can be found over many playthroughs and That's why I keep playing, I keep finding or hearing about the nuances and that keeps me interested. I just wish that the pacing was better so the nuances were found more often or there were more of them to be found. I play forever and nothing, go away for a while, get interested again coming back and find something interesting, then nothing for a while and another break, but I keep coming back for more so they must be doing something right just could be better and more exciting.

Maybe there should be a separate thread for people to post the nuances they have found so that others will run across them. Might be too spoilery but I found, on other story generators, that hearing about stuff like this makes the game more of a draw... If someone can do a good explanation of this so people will get it and add to the mix in another thread so it is highlighted I would find that interesting, I would do it but not sure how I would explain it and make it obvious enough to get people to post. Actually I decided to make an attempt of this at thread called "Nuances Discoveries Stories Thread, Post Yours" Fell free to stop by and clarify it more and add your own posts...

I think i already have 1000 hrs in this games, most of it because issue with main story which i need to reload my previous save (if i backup) or redo the game.
After that i play around with physical cultivation, see what the different in each type and also try to.raise the demon.
At this point i still not touch shendao =.= when i want to start just saw post how to make item pass T12 and try that which consume a lot of times and resource =.=
And lastly... fish.. to collect all type of fish, if there is no illuminate fishing rod it can drive you nuts

Instead of working on new game,developers should complete this game.Relations with other sects and adventure system is too shallow.There is only 10 major sects and no other lower tier sects.Also a lowly qi shaping tier cultivators can become best buddy of primordial spirit cultivators of major sects.It doesnt make any sense,they shouldnt be allowed to speak with them.There are no minor sects so we can only interact with major sects and we cant fight them until late game because of this fighting is limited.It would be better if there was other small sects so that we can fight and compete with them until we are strong enough to oppose major sects.Diplomacy is shallow too,you cant ally with the sects to attack another sect.We cant enter half of the locations in the world map and world map is too small be cultivator world.Number of locations is few,this a cultivation world but there is only 5 cities and we cant enter them because developers didnt bother to create city map.This is same for other locations we cant enter like immortal caerulea mountain or safeward seas.You can see that we cant enter most of the more supernatural locations.I n world map locations all demon beasts are core shaping tier,this is a cultivation world yet there is lack of strong beasts.There should be locations that contains lots of unusually powerful demon beasts like in the xianxia novels.When you enter locations,most of the npcs are mortals,you can see at most 2 or 3 cultivators, this is too low for a cultivator world.There should be locations where many cultivators can fight or interact. In xianxia novels most of the cultivators are lower tier cultivators,they travel around the world a lot but in this game they are useless and we cant see them.Most of the cultivators are primordial spirit stage unlike xianxia novels,you can see primordial spirit cultivator in a village but you cant see qi shaping cultivator,it is too rare in this game.There should be tournaments where lower tier cultivators can fight,annual kunlun competition doesnt make sense, it is not a real tournament,golden core and primordial spirit cultivators live hundreds of years and they meditate for decades how can they gather in kunlun mountain every year?There are still lots of things i want to add but probably most of you know them already.Main reason this game's popularity is there is no similar game.When you swap sects and cultivation with kingdoms and magic,you can see how this game is lacking.I dont hate this game, i like it a lot but instead of completing this game's shortcomings,developers are creating new game.I read the other discussions and saw that game is amazing cultivation simulator 2.How can they create a game about immortal world?It doesnt make any sense,they cant even create a mortal world with good world building.This might be fake news but it doesnt matter.There isnt any major update for 5 months.

Dark Lord, I hear you, nice post. I agree that the Xianxia Books are much more exciting than how the game panned out and I hope they make it or the next one much more like the books which I found amazing and wanted to experience as a player.

I believe next one will be better but it would be great, if they add some of the new content of acs 2 to this game.
