Contract and golden core

Does having a spiritual contract before golden core influence the number of qi you get after the GC breakthrough ?

No, the spirit contract benefits do not start until after GC, before GC they just give you more move speed.

Another question, i reached golden core with my artifact crafter with around 23000 max qi. I ordered him to craft an artefact with a crystal tao sword, which cost 18000 qi. When he finished his job, he ended up with only 13000 max qi and i havent been able to craft any other artefact for days.

Is it normal for a GC cultivator to loose max qi + the amount of qi needed to craft the artifact after he's done working ?

As far i know it's the first time it's happening. He doesn't seem to be able to get back to his max qi of 23000 at all. I used to craft with low materials like wood and stone for 500 qi and i never have seen my cafter loose his max qi.

Could someone reasure me i can keep playing and thats not a bug please ?

Never heard of that issue. If your artifact crafter is a Six Paths cultivator, they do lose max qi as they progress but gain it back after they undergo a "Reborn" breakthrough.
