Is it possible to increase alchemy skill as inner?

So from what I understand you need to grind out the medicine skill as an outer before you promote in order to get higher alchemy? And the magic crafting skill is also important but you can't grind that at all?

How are you supposed to get like level 20 alchemy. artifact crafting? It seems impossible.

No, you don't need to grind it. It saves you some inspiration costs, but is not essetnial.

You literally just click away at the lvl up button in the inspiration menu (same place where you can get the skill from the law the inner is cultivating.

You need a lot of inspiration though.

lol totally missed / forgot about that, for some reason I thought you could only use inspiration to boost combat stats. Wow thanks!

Note, if you want a really good alchemist, get a Yaoguai, who can get 30+ lvls in alchemy, Bulls are really good since they get a built in trait for more efficiency. And get them learning Alchemy law of course. You get so much more stuff for the same resource input.
