Get them at least to core shaping, since there are adventuring and movement speed passives (i think in the earth law, u gotta transcribe those laws of course to learn them when studying any other law)
- breakthrough to the Core Shaping stage (stop just before the Golden Core);
- draw and equip an Agility talisman (there are 12 low-tier talisman papers in the default starting resources package);
- replace your Agility talisman with the Talisman of Spiritual Travelling as soon as you learn how to draw it (obtained from Golden Book of the Six Edicts and Five Directions in the Early Casket);
- learn skills if your starting law has any related to travel/movement speed.
I prefer not to promote yaoguai in the early game. They are much more valuable as outer disciples, IMO: They move fast and many have decent skill levels for combat/farming/crafting.
who needs worldly crafting if u can ascend to immortality? A yaoguai who can collect rare materials fast is way more valuable than a yaoguai who can cut down trees or carry water. Also u can always hire more outer yaoguais or just human outers for dull labor. This is by far the least important aspect in this game...
and why do u need combat on outers? Are u letting ur rice farmers do combat? Why?
Everybody plays their game differently. I prefer to build my sect early and build it well. I also prefer to be rich, so I value my outers and their crafting and farming skills.
As for rare materials, human cultivators with proper movement skills and talismans are more than enough to provide a steady supply.
Outers with good hunting bows (Spirit Stone Hunting Bow, 100 quality) at the early stages of the game are much more powerful and reliable than newly mint cultivators with their mediocre Qi and low-quality artifacts. High combat is also great for hunting.
Im just sad about the wasted potential of ur yaoguais, since they wont be able to survive tribulation
Why wouldn't they? In the mid-game (around day 150), I can have any yaoguai with Supreme GC in 5 days. I will also have talismans, items, and artifacts to aid with their tribulation.
If a yaoguai has only a few days till tribulation and really good stats it might be a better idea to send them to the agency until you have the resources to make tribulations easy.
Please do not be sad for my disciples. They are doing great and fully enjoy the benefits of being in a rich sect.
That is just straight up non-sense. Even the weakest Qi Shaping inner is stronger than any mortal being, especially when wielding an artifact (be that just one made out of offcuts).
Most mortals get knocked down after just one hit, while even a lvl 100 attack yaos will take several shots with a quality 100 spirit stone bow to down mortal invaders or animals (naturally they also don't stand a chance against anything with Qi).
The only real downside to attacking mortal beings with inners is getting condemnation.
Individually they are weaker, true. However, no one is sending them to fight one-on-one. Ganging on invaders and using the dog to tank cultivators once the dog is available is my preferred strategy. Ten outers with good bows kill Qi-shaping and Core-shaping enemies faster than early-stage cultivators, at least in my experience.
Apart from condemnation, the downside is the necessity of being on the map. It is much more time-efficient to have inner disciples adventure somewhere (especially if cultivation rooms aren't built, yet) than have them stay and guard the sect. Guarding the sect is fine once the sect has about a dozen of Primordial Spirit cultivators and plenty of resources, IMO.
