Normal cultivators cannot fight real enemies without significant investment of inspiration, a large (the bigger the better) library of manuals, excellent gear, pills, talismans. Body cultivators need literally nothing to be functional, and very little to be excellent.
No idea what you mean by "fighting at qi shaping", at that stage a xiandao will die from a sneeze when facing pretty much any enemy due to low qi reserve.
Decently built body cultivators can solo bosses and good BCs can solo sects, and conventional enemies with 500k qi will die from a tap or two of any late incubation stage BC. By contrast, Xiandao need decent formations to fight bosses or sects.
A screenshot would help to work out what you are missing on the BC.
Regarding stamina, there are items that give instant stamina. Spirit dew can be harvested on day 1 from the map. And later you remold organs to massively increase stamina gain.
Check your training list and try to fill the requirement of each secret bodies. Then you need to equip those secret bodies in inventory menu.
So basically BC is turning his own body into a weapon (and shield), you need to refine each body parts to meet the active requirements of secret bodies, and equip the activated secret body parts to attack or defend (One body part can only assign to attack or defend, so you need to make at least 2 of them)
I found an English wiki might be helpful to you. This should give you some idea about how to fight with a bc character.

The stamina issue solves itself once he's been remolded enough to eat your entire food reserve. What's really annoying is having to babysit them as they remold because you can't set up proper queues. It's always too much or too little.
Stats are: 37 battle and qi sense, 14 comprehension, 10 inner sight, 8 artisanry.
It does not help therefore to imagine the hallucinating Physical cultivator should be thinking like a Xiandao in terms of how to grow their power.
Meanwhile, the Shendao aren't hallucinating at all but laughing at their friends high on mushrooms whilst telling them nonsense so the others worship them because they think it's real.

Read the intro and then go to the Start Guide. It's starting from scratch on Tribulation 9 but everything there is still relevant. Mouse over the little arrows for more information.
Keep in a body cult is basically an evasion tank. If they're not dodging they're dying in really dangerous situations.
There's five skills to keep in mind.
Crafting - Increases comprehension (more essences from devouring and breathing)
Medicine - Increases inner sight (remold efficiency)
Artisanry - Higher chance of getting rarer tags from using your essences
Battle - Boosts dodge and maybe base attack accuracy? Not sure there.
Qi Sense - Base penetration and suppression
That's kinda the order you want to prioritise too. Essences are your bread and butter, without them you'll never do anything well. As important as dodge is, we can improve that with remolding and you will be. The cap is 95% and that's where you want it at all times.
Also unless you're using a specific mod to even it out, men make make the best body cults. This is because they have an extra... organ, and organs are really good because of their passive benefits. Even a lot of their tags end up being passive.
But even with these low end stats, the body cultivator should be capable of killing anything on the map besides high end invaders. The fact you say you are not damaging even wildlife make me wonder if you actually have the secret bodies equipped. If they are not equipped, they essentially do not exist and your BC has the power of a mortal,
Snakes are the worst body cults you can have for the record, never use them for that. Even Frogs are better. Best are Tigers for their stats and excellent natural secret bodies and Bulls for their four stomachs.
Bulls also gets an amazing attack secret body making them, in my opinion, the best candidate for using Primordial Unity Body with. Their defence will never be perfect but that attack will carry them until you're ready for Chaos Phase and their ability to squeeze as much essence out of as little as possible is a real boon to their progress when you're just starting a new sect.
I'm talking from experience and i can prove (ex. killing Flood Dragon on trib IX with this law and a yaoguai). Have you tried or are you just spreading misconceptions that you got from other ppl ? Killing Flood Dragon on trib IX is pretty much all you can resonably expect from a starting law on trib IX. And you can do it with just mixed elements arms.
Getting back on topic, i think the op didn't equip the body parts for offense that's why he did almost no damage.
