Heyo, im playing as i go through the tutorials here and there pretty much lol was wondering if i could get some good general tips for the game?

My advice is not to read any guide. Try to play by yourself and try to figure out first. Then after you make a lot of mistake, read a guide like the swb foundation guide.

Also go to the discord server if you need to ask question. There are also links to a lot of good detailed guides at the discord server.

Get your gold core shaping to the best tier as it effects your overall power massively later.
I thought tier 3 (out of 9 or something) would be Okay - it isn't

Just play normal difficulty until you get use to the game mechanic.
Play the Immortal difficulty for more challenging and to get 99% of the game's achievement.

You can test out the Feng Shui system in Land of Illusion by building a Observatory and just plopping down structures. Weather and the elements of structures and decorations can affect this as well, which can also be tested out in Land of Illusion.

Honestly best tip is to just play you will learn little by little then you can look at a guide unless you like to have the info up front.
stats on the npc only matter little bit most can be rise when learning skills from laws.

Go into the game with the right mindset. This game has a plot and many mysteries to unlock.

Also, make sure the settings are set correctly. They range from ridiculously slow to twice the speed.

Its really just a numbers game, don't feel obligated to crank up the settings. It's just going to slow your game down.

Have goals for your game, otherwise you'll get lost.

Plan out your sect before you start building, it will save you a major headache later on.

Decide if you want to be good, evil or amoral.

Plot characters can die in the game, so don't put off the plot. Consequences in this game are severe. You can lose items that are precious and required for wonders, etc etc that you can't get back.

Don't play on immortal unless you are willing to suffer permanent consequences like this. Just don't put things off.

Learning in this game is incremental and requires patience because its UI is so poorly designed and has alot of bad translations.

A good general tip is make sure you do a lot of exploring on the world map. There is tons of stuff to find out there and it is a major part of the game. You want to avoid gaining reputation though, because that increases the level of the enemies that attack your sect. Most of the good/evil options, or interacting with other people will gain you reputation, so even though they can be tempting to do, you might want to avoid them until you get set up.
