So you mean it will stay in the cave as long as I build a room with good feng shui right? I just need more time like 3 more years or something.
Is there a guide on how to kill this thing??
The battle took forever. It wasn't hard in the sense none of my inners ever seemed in trouble or even seemed to take much damage. I probably left it too late (flood dragon terrified me) and over prepared. But it took damage really slowly, so it wasn't easy exactly.
The main issue was managing my outers, keeping them from getting diced in the crossfire. The constant waves of wild animals appearing didn't help.
By the time it was finished the result was total carnage... not of my people but of my base. I thought I would try to fight it in a corner but it goes all over the place and everything was trashed.
I spent hours trying to fix everything. My inners running around restoring my outers lost limbs, filling in all those dam puddles then rebuilding everything. Most was repairable except the farms where some spirit soil was lost. Seemed to lose some valuable items too where puddles landed in store rooms.
There has got to be a better way ... The fight and repair took me pretty much an entire day's gaming.
I couldn't find a guide.
-> 300k-1million qi each node in the formation.
-> >25k artifact power bonus
-> >=3 artifact slots.
The formation, depends on how you designed it, should have >360% artifact power. There is an option called "joint artifact" when formation is formed and that allows sharing of formation qi to charge up the pillar's artifacts qi and boosting its power as well.
Enjoy the cleaning duties thereafter.
Thanks, as long as I have another 10 years to prepare my inner ,I maybe can get them to that point lol...to be honest I still don`t know how that formation thing work..yet.
Thanks, Oh it's seem I need another 10 years to prepare since I only have like 50000 QI
Even the ancient cultivator with 7million qi is only 1/500 of difficulty that you are going to face with the dragon. If you want to have an easier fight, just aim for the dragon's "body". But that would mean that you will be missing the best bits.
Anyway, I looked and there was another thread where people were talking about using a mod to just remove the dragon when it pops up, so I'll likely use that when I get to that point and if the fight looks unwinnable. If you're coming later on and that thread isn't near the top of the discussion board, just look up 'flood dragon' in search and it will pop up.
I'm not concerned about getting whatever the dragon drops or achievements or anything. I'm just looking for more of a sandbox type play experience without needing to spoil myself too much.
It seems weird that you can manage your difficulty with reputation management in every other respect, but that the dragon shows up when it feels like. It defeats the purpose of managing rep IMO.
Wait ... There are bits you miss if you target the body???
I targeted the body in my fight for no particular reason - what did I miss?
I dont think the claws, horns and veins(tail) will drop. The body should be the last part to target to kill the dragon.
No way I'm reloading after all that time I spent fixing my base though ...
