golden core is the lowest and feng shui is 1

Oh youre gonna have a hard time with a core that low and that feng shui. You could try using an Altar of Magic, the decoration thing from Kunlun. Its like a Qi cushion with 600 Qi gathering, but your main obstacle is gonna be your core being so poor. Like my Primordial using the SIx Reincarnation law gets barely 20% because of his Tier 8 core when trying to breakthru to Demigod. I've had to feed him Thought pills and use a Talisman of Truth Comprehension to get it to 40%

Might be easier if you have the ability to specter refine and get a tier 12 earth flux, yeah.

use it as a disposable miracle casting machine (derivative cultivation if you don't have the advanced law yet, unless your cultivator don't have high enough stat to get those from the event), and specter refine some QI increasing consumable (eath flux, junk pill mainly) for the next one if you have anguish soul gem, get those weather miracle too. with this your next one should be goldcore 1 easy.

Extremely new to the game and just kinda found it qi boosting is a requirement. The seasons changed so I was able to get 30% but my rep is climbing and I don't really have the time to play the long game less I get stomped by the other secs when they start sending the really powerful guys.

yep, your first cultivator of each new type xiandao/shendao/body will nearly always be failed unless your heavily spoil yourself with guide as there are so many things to account for. you are not too much in a hurry unless you have skyrocketed your sect rep (i think 2000+ start spawning golden core) and even those can mostly be handled or at least tanked by the dog.

I don't know if it's just my current run but i have passed the 2000+ rep for a moment (nearly 3000 now) and i had no attack except qi shaping barbarian, but the particularity this time is that i know and have visited each sect before that point so maybe they are less inclined to attack me.
I'm not sure of that info, if someone have seen something similar it might help new players.
(also my sect is 600good/300evil, have been "respected" but shifted to "controversial" currently)
