It happens (rarely).
You can prevent this by looking at those earlier, and / or forgetting some thoughts and learning one via observation so you get the third of whatever double you have. If you want to know which object gives what, there are complete guides out there accessible from the discord or pinned topic which show just that, should be called demon raising guide or something like it.
Thank you, I managed to pin it together by using observation, it’s a rather unfavourable one but better than being completely stuck.
I forgot about the tiger, and by the time I remembered him, it was already like this.
From now on I’ll keep an eye on it, I don't want my first attempt at awakening to fail miserably.
You can also click the 'think' button with no matches to clear all thought shards.
I wasn’t sure if doing that still counts as thinking, one of the complete thoughts had only 2 left, I didn’t dare to try it out.
Although I hope this won’t happen again, does “empty” thinking reduce the number of thinkings left before a complete one vanishes?
Yes it reduces the number of thinkings before it vanishes. But it's not that big of a deal. You can try to just get that specific thought again, the next time around.
Most of the time you'll be recycling a lot of old thoughts, once you start getting 5+ shards.
Glad to have helped =)
