That's is an example, the awakening beast will be mark on the mini map as blue dot.
You need to find it and if you found it, click it and there is an option to catch it.
As long as you still have the notification the beast should be on the map.
Anyway, since we have the chance to have an experienced player in this thread, could you please point me (us?) to a guide of what to do with awakened animals once they're caught ? Do they leave or disappear after a while, like illuminated items ? What does a tiger awaken to ? A tiger Yaoguai I assume ?
Some guidance (in regards to awakened animals, and ideally also to illuminated items, I know about another guide but it's... a daunting read as first experience to the topic) would be awesome. In simple words if at all possible, I'm still mostly a newbie after all. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu ^.^
Thank you very much in advance.
Still baffled about the illuminated items though. I got some when I was still wet behind the ears with the game ; it was a huge WTF moment, and had no idea what to *immediately* do with them. Were they dangerous ? Hostile ? Since I decided to purely ignore them, they disappeared after a while. One day I'll figure it out, hopefully...
1. To get Primordial Soul gem.
This function people usually aim at the item that come to your sect or auto become illuminate. Since each item that illuminate have different bonus, unless the bonus to your liking better to turn them to primordial soul gem.
2. To get a good outer disciple.
Since each item have specific bonus when become illuminate and carry out when become human, illuminate items are good candidate to become outer disciple. With super name in the mixed it will be way better then normal human / yogai especial in stat.
3. As sacrifice to get T15+ rank item
This usually aim at Legacy Artifact. Usually item cap at T12 rank.
To increase to another rank, you need to illuminate them, cultivate until at least GC and kill them (the usual way) or until demigod and possesses bad stat outer (to get T15 + statue).
I saw another info (not try yet), to rebirth after GC to make the rank higher then T15.
The info said each rebirth after GC will increase rank by 1 that why in some picture have shown the item rank T30. Not sure this cause by mod since I am trying to do it without mod in current game.
I think illuminated items/buildings are a missed opportunity of the game to produce something more relatable to the story and lore, or at least properly tied to the game quests/secret system like the "awakened animals" mini-game.
Having them appear out of thin air sure is fun in a weird kind of way the first times, and even seems to have some advantages for those who care to investigate further through Google or the forums (and yes, I know players can also force illumination to happen later in the game), but I think most every new player will probably have the same reaction than I had and just ignore the stuff, which isn't the best design for any game feature.
In any case, thank you very much to the both of you for your helpful insight.
Is there a way for me to further wait, or will I be penalized if I remove those three shards from the animal ?
Also, I've been paying attention to the well-being of the animal, by creating an extra-large pasture with no animals outside of the base. My tiger seems to really enjoy it (+++++), but I wonder if it's the best strategy to collect shards (lots of them fast but totally random, since no player input is given), since I seemed to get more valuable ones (hearing music, etc.) if I let the animal slowly wander inside my base and directed it to observe stuff or follow disciples.
What are your thoughts ?
Once 40 though shard are here, waiting/removing them doesn't chance anything, no new one should appear, at that point you need to Think once (can think with empty selection to purely delete everything) which will remove all the shard on the left, and make new one.
know that those finished thought, aren't added to your animal yet, only later when you will fuse 1 of each color together will that become final.
You can force thought shard by ordering to observe something, but once per shard (can't get 3 time 'Skygazing' that way for example, but you can get)
