Cultivating in bedroom, not in Cultivation room

Anyone know why a Cultivator would just stop using the perfectly laid out cultivation room in lieu of using their crappy bedroom?

I have an amazing cultivation room they've been using forever. As soon as they got to Golden Core, they won't even enter the room and only go to their bedroom.

I've tried destroying their bedroom and they just go into someone else's bedroom.

What the heck is going on? Qi gain in 1.5 in the bedroom, vs 15 in the Cultivator...

Any ideas?

Feng Shui is my guess....
I had similar issues at first, and I assume changing my feng shui is what fixed it. I have had my people just altogether avoid using things that gave off bad vibes.
But I may have been imaging it. Bad documentation on this game.

All Feng Shui in all my rooms is "Auspicious". I haven't changed the room since he just decided to stop using it. It's the strangest thing.

Assign the Qi cushion to him?

Use any mods that "break" stuff... perhaps...

Yup, it's assigned to him. He just won't sit in the cushion... I can form him to move into the room. I can force him to move on a stand with spirit wood or something else and he'll start meditation practice right there but won't move 1 square over onto the cushion lol!

I am vanilla, no mods, so nothing to break. I'm just really confused.

Had this exact problem: for some reason game marked qi cushion impassable. Just order to move cushion itself somewhere else and than move it back. this fixed it for me.

Maybe you can post the room screen shoot and your toon stat so we can "see" if there is something that cause/prevent the location being use.

Old thread, but it comes up on google. Having this exact issue. Need a room with wood element, so I made a wood element bedroom and assigned him the bed (since he spent all his time doing it in his earth element bedroom before which didn't match). He just refuses to stay in the wood one, checked the feng shui, it's fine, just wood instead of earth like the other. temperature is better, and yet he keeps running back to the earth one

make all out of spirit stone, walls, floors, vases beds stands. bedroom, cultivation room, kitchen all. It's works best. Also mass crafting for relics farm must be done from spirits stone they won't have elements so relic activation won't demand elements for rooms.
