Talismans, and different people/types of cultivators will have different temp resistances as they grow. There are also items that you can put on your cultivator, and clothes made out of fei or lushu hide.

Fire and Water Cultivators are particularly resilient to their element the more they cultivate. Get some demon beast cloth and a fire talisman and you should be able to enter at the golden core level.

Also, keep an eye on the merchant for some items that can increase temperature tolerance.
