first, leave enough outer disciples, at least 3, otherwise you'll have too few workers.
later you can create some sort of zombies for it, but at the beginning don't rush inner disciples.
as far as the law go, it's wood who help fire, so you need a wood room to feed fire cultivation.
in the higher left portion of the screen you should have a pentacle
if you click it you'll see how the elements relate to each other, eg wood feed fire, water kill fire etc
Metal -> Water -> Wood -> Fire -> Earth -> Metal
For example, your law is Fire Law, which meant
- When cultivate, if you make room with wood element, it will increase your cultivation time since wood support fire.
- For artifact , it will be the opposite, since your law is fire you need Earth Artifact.
Using similar element only give normal bonus. Please refer to table below
Law | Good | Excellent
======+==============+===========
Fire + Fire/None + Earth
Earth + Earth/None + Metal
Metal + Metal/None + Water
None + Any Element + n/a
Water + Water/None + Wood
Wood + Wood/None + Fire
==================================
There are several point that can increase the attack output
1. Your Artifact Mastery Level
You increase this skill either by level them up using inspiration point (standard cap to 20) or by learning skill from other law (mostly unorthodox type).
2. Your Artifact Quality
When create an artifact, try to get the base as high as possible.
For example: the artifact from Acupuncture Needle
You will get better artifact if you make an artifact from T12 Acupuncture Needle then normal Acupuncture Needle (T6-T9) which upgrade later to T12.
And of course the skill for crafting an artifact also influence how good artifact is.
3. Your compatibility with the artifact
If your law is fire and you use fire artifact, the bonus is normal.
1.2 (or 1.5) multiplier if your are using Earth Artifact.
4. Bonus item or pill.
Some item will increase your artifact power like Wolf Demon's Fang or Talisman of Military Prosperity (i think only work inside the sect only) which can increase you accuracy, dodge and pain tolerance.
Here are the list of Law which have extra slot for artifact:
- Grand Chariot Wisdom, you will get total 2 slot (1 Default + 1 from Skill)
- Sun Flower Refining Law, you will get total 2 Slot (1 Default + 1 from Skill)
- Seven-Slaughtering Sword, you will get total 3 Slot (1 Default + 2 from skill)
Other law only have 1 slot for Artifact.
To increase the number of slot you need to consume Dragon / Phoenix / Torch Elixir which can only be consume 1 each.
So normally only Seven-Slaughtering Sword can have 6 slot.
But if you use mod that enable you to learn higher end skill, all law can have up to 5 artifact slot before consume pill.
Thank you so much for your reply kind Sir, i will remember this
Look for a dog nearby which appears on day 30 and adopt it.
They are powerful enough to protect you from most threats in the first 2 years unless gain a lot of attention on the world map. You should also try to avoid gaining reputation whenever you can until you believe you are powerful enough to survive.
If you need food and have the dog you can collect meat from the nearby village without putting your people at risk. This can allow you to avoid starvation even if it is raw meat or just kill animals on the map with your cultivator then have the worker butcher the dead animal.
The Sun Law is recommended at your first cultivator for a few reasons.
1. You can use spirit wood which is best for the fire element to boost the Qi in an area more than any other element at the start
2. Getting another person suited to this law early on is difficult.
3. You can get a good gold core breakthrough near the start of the 2nd year. (after you have had a chance to learn the basics of survival)
4. There is a map location you can find near you sect which requires someone from the fire element in to have a high chance to find a Qi boosting item (earth flux)
When trying to craft early artifacts for fighting you best option is to try and make a bracelet then turn it into an artifact.
Water Or Wood this should be made from wood
Fire should make this out of stone
Earth or Metal should have it made out of out of Iron
Bracelets are not weapons so will only be made up to grade 6 in quality regardless of materials used however have very good statistics as an artifact. These recommended first treasures are not great however often better than something of a similar grade.
Weapons with perfect quality can have their quality upgraded 2 ranks.
The quality of the artifact is determined by the object type, the material that is is made from, the skill of the person turning it into a artifact and random chance.
There is a small chance that when it is turned into a artifact it can be upgraded to a higher grade of quality.
The amount it can be upgraded is determined by 3 things
- Qi in the item
- grade bonus from your skill
- grade bonus from other sources
(there is also the bonus from perfect quality before turning it into a treasure of +2 this mainly applies to weapons)
Expect a lot of failures before you get a good one.
