Specter Refinement

Is there any way to increase the odds of successfully refining an item? I've managed to get earth flux to rank 10 but the refinement chance is now insignificant. Otherwise that will probably take a gargantuan amount of time to get that to 12 with those odds

It isn't actually that horrible of odds, It's just that you need more gems and need to pull the slider more.

I dunno about a method to increase, but I generally get it in a few tries minimum even at insignificant, it's just that at first I had trouble with not having enough max Qi to do it over and over.

You can also make a hell gate, which literally just means putting a bunch of sect stones or other similar effect items inside an ominous/very ominous room and recruit people, they will worship the rock till they die and there is a chance to drop anguish gems.

Break through into primordial spirit, you can check the stages on the law page to see which stages are safe to break into without becoming a demi-god.

There is also treasures, mainly the sun pill, which can be taken a few times and gives you a decent amount of max qi, the higher quality core, the more qi you have.

Depending on your law, some middle stage limits will give you an increase, I think fire does this regularly or something.

Various max qi abilities, even those that conflict later on, I just boosted my 7k max qi non-golden core to 10.8k with conflicted abilities. This is more viable if you have a bunch of agencies making belief, or a few.

Higher quality elixirs give you better rewards, like the earth flux you're doing.

Thanks! What's wrong with turning into a demi god? Do you have to ascent directly?

A demi-god gets repeated tribulations every month with increasing difficulty which kinda gets on one's nerves. Generally, you want to keep your characters as primordial spirits and ascend with only someone you have no use for anymore.

They leave behind a statue that you can worship with spirit crystals and food in exchange for buffs and stuff.

no if you turn into a demi god that character is relagated to sect defense as their not allowed to adventure.

1. refine it in v ominous room
2. using anguish sentient being to use specter refinement
