SO how to get a decent craftsman?
If i just go to my agency and use recruit - I have to scroll through 100 people, but is there a way to sort them by crafting skill? It only gives option to sort them by stats.

It auto sorts THEIR skills from highest to lowest...so I just scroll down and scan everyone's top 3 skills quickly looking for whatever skill I am interested in. If it's not in the top 3 its probably not very good (even if it is in the top 3 it's not always great).

I am not sure what stats affect crafting but I know for Qi Sense I either sort by CON or INT since those feed into it and that usually puts the people with the highest Qi sense towards the top.

Yeah that makes sense somewhat

I don't even look at crafting skill. What I look for is a high int char with passion in crafting and ideally artisanry. Just train them yourself, they will reach a higher peak!

I did that but he maxed out at 59. And all guides said ideally you should have 60+ craftsman. I want 60+ craftsman..

How do I get spirit relics? I was told spam craft lots of items?

By high int, I mean int of at least 9. Thats a max 70 crafter at the min (depending on other stats).

I think the only way to get a decent 70ish craftsman is to either make a yaoguai or get one through events. I have only seen a single human with 70 craftsman and it was over the course of many many recruits and 2 or 3 playthroughs.

All my craftsman are over 70, on 1 playthrough I am only using humans. Its just that skills are level * stats, crafting scales mostly off of int. You can test stuff like this in the character creators to see what stats you need to get an ability X crafter. So just recruit a 9 int person with passion in crafting and train them up. Can even take someone with no passion if you have the learning speed talisman. Once you recruit 100 ppl at a time its not hard to get high stat mortals in the slightest.

Edit: Example: https://imgur.com/a/0KlYymd

As you can see, the higher stat guy has higher crafting because he has higher overall stats despite lower int. Since other stats also matter just int is the biggest factor.

I guess my rng is just bad then :(

I get 9-10 int guys all the time. I think the ideal crafter is 10 int, 10 con because con buffs movespeed. Cha is also nice to have. So keep an eye out for high stats when recruiting.
