Primordial Symbols

I promise, there will be a time I will stop posting a question every day! But it is not today (imagine that said in Aragorn's voice, thank you very much).

Altho I hope for a bit of a debate - what was your choice of talismans (and their order) for a Primordial Symbols guy? Saving artifact power for the last, I presume?

And what qi did you manage to draw with? Cause to me it seems that the 10kx technique would need pre-golden-core sun pill character or something.

And how did you manage to land core 1 on him/her without any element and season bonuses? Cause 19k qi wasn't enough, nowhere near actually, and that's pretty much what I cap out on. Please, don't say by inner cauldron or eating 50 T12 phoenix flesh or something similarily ridiculous >_>

Gotta say though, the law is ridiculously OP, I did a test run on a freshly shapeshifted 10-intelligence tiger, just to see if I can manage with the 5 days tribulation...

I completely botched two talismans, one of them didn't even give me any bonus cause it counted as random scribbles lol, but still, I managed to speedrun him to primordial spirit just in time, at which point, freshly graduated with a bunch of manuals added, he already has way better stats than my seven swords guy with almost 700 attainment ><.

Well, time to load an earlier game and do it properly, this dude is gonna be my new formation pillar =)).

I am trying to min max my primordial law character as well and these are the talismans i have in mind:

Spiritsword Talisman
Divinesword Talisman
Sharpsword Talisman
Sacredsword Talisman

I'll probably use Dark Armor or Heaven Armor for the first talisman, haven't decided yet as i am waiting for inner cauldron to fill.

And yes, since this is going to be a min max character, i will use all t12 max qi consumables. Hopefully i can do the pre golden core sun pill. Then i will start drawing my first talisman.

While i am waiting to refine, and fill cauldron; i'm going to make a spiritual set with combat skill boosts for tier 2-3 skills, like Grand Chario Ultimate: Blade Unity (+1 artifact) and some of the other seven slaughter skills.

Hopefully this person will represent the pinnacle of xiandao.

Then i will min max a shendao and physical cultivator (with all 999 tempered flesh and bones) and pit all of them against each other in the dojo.

This will hopefully allow us to answer the eternal question of which path is ultimately the strongest.

I'm still waiting for the third casket opening to grab my shendao laws... need a battery for my formation =)).

But dammit, it's a shapeshifted character with 5 days tribulation, I can't go inner cauldron on him... maybe I should abandon that idea and humanize a sentient spirit instead and try to minmax him instead. Now what do I do with my damn 10 intelligence shards tiger =/.

But yeah I was thinking the same, darkarmor first probably...

Speaking of which, what if I made a throwaway seven swords guy, taught him spirit splitting, somehow obtained a load of panacea pills, went full voldemort on soul tearing and made, say, a 12-set spiritual artifact with both branches from seven swords (ultima and the other)... would that actually give the primordial guy +2 artifacts? Then the three elixirs to get all 6 artifacts for ULTIMATE POWER?

Yea that is what i was thinking, or using yang possesion on a bunch of throw away primordials and have them all possess one person when making spiritual artifacts. This way you won't have to worry about artifact set issues as all your artifacts will be made by one person.

You used illuminated elixir as a disciple for your primordial symbols guy, btw? Just wondering, cause I just got one of my talismans illuminated and whilst I probably wouldn't be able to go pre-core sun pill on him, having four talismans active would be pretty damn awesome as well, grr =).

Dumb question... Why don't you just buy one of those pills that extends the tribulation by like 250 days?

Maybe I'm missing something about the setup, if you mean doing this from day one I guess? I figured we were talking about raising a custom animal via the minigame.

I know this is a bit late but if your trying to min max that law you can mannually draw the same talisman over and over for a stacking affect. Their the only ones that can stack talismans using that way.

Oh interesting, i haven't drawn that first talisman yet since i am waiting to increase max qi for the 10k draw, now that i can stack Sacredsword talisman 5x....

Boartato: That's because shapeshifting tribulation =/= heavenly tribulation, sadly. You cannot postpone it and therefore you can't really go inner cauldron on a 10 intelligence shard animal =/.

Nevermind though, the tiger wasn't even born that good anyway, except... he did have a 35 artifact mastery cap. I wonder if that would have outweighted the meh stats. Well, doesn't matter anyway, I already went heaven stealing and ascended him to get the demigod statue buff posibility =).

And maybe after this I'll awaken another one and do it properly this time because it wasn't until intelligence shard 6 or 7 that I noticed the same thoughts don't stack, lol. I wasted a LOT of slots.

Working on my illuminated talisman now, whilst keeping the sentient spirit guide in mind of course, but I ran into another problem.

I knew the way of awakening therefore I predicted stats, I nurtured it with elements accordingly and... supernames don't seem to work for me for some reason. Tried all of them, and he keeps getting born with junk stats. So in the end I started spamming random names until I landed Akatsuki Yai (don't ask)... who got born with 9 in all stats, 7 perception.

I deemed that acceptable and I'm working on him now, except... the spirit guide has 26k max qi after four earth fluxes (one with no resistance due to illuminated elixir awakening trait), whilst my guy has only 17k... does the one extra flux really make THAT much of a difference or am I missing something?

edit: as for talisman stacking, yeah, I've heard of it and figured you need to draw it manually but... how o_O. Some weird overlay thing =D?

edit2: are you sure the 10k draw technique is even possible for the first talisman? I mean, you make a dot and it pretty much obliterates your qi bar ><

Yea i believe one earth flux eaten without medicine resistance is a lot, because the second one will only be 10% effective due to earth flux's 90% medicine resistance.

for the 10k draw, i will need pre core sun pill to boost max qi to absurd levels. I will probably still be dotting all over the place though, i have to see how much qi i can stack.

I mean yeah, but are you sure it's possible even with pre-core sun pill? I mean, when I tried a test run without any min-maxing, the 10k technique was absolutely impossible even at golden core with max qi manuals... pre-core sun pill guy will have what, 400k qi? Not sure if that's enough, tbh. You'll see though =).

Or do you actually have spirit seeds stacked for even more hardcore golden core =)?

Yea i am not quite sure either. This will take a while. Maybe my physicals will reach 999 in all body parts before this happens who knows. I will see which character will be the first to solo 9x power npc sects.

Btw, where did you get your panacea pills? They're bottlenecking my guy pretty hard, the sect has ONE for sale and other than that I am kinda out of ideas, except for save-scumming a merchant for three hours until he finally brings one ><.

No idea, i just have a bunch of those in my play through, i did not buy a single one and i still have like 5+. Probably strange little elf events, or random adventuring.
