Giant demon snake in base that can't be killed
So... I'm not even 60 days in yet I don't think and for quite a while I've had this snake monster in the lower left corner that somehow is able to cultivate extremely fast. I had hoped I could kill the core formation demon once I had someone break through to golden core... my first golden core was 6 paths so... yeah still need to rebirth for him to do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I still have never been able to deal even a single point of damage to it and it can easily wipe out my entire sect in seconds. (Which has happened on multiple occasions because of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rabbits I let join who get killed and... because this game doesn't let you tell people NOT to go feed or heal the dying rabbit they all run up to the snake and die.)

This does not seem balanced, wtf am I supposed to do about it?

For the rabbits just put them on pasture far away.

I think generally a golden core built for combat with support works for killing the starting demon beast. I get at least 10 in barrier and either spells or artifact mastery asap. A good artifact helps if the latter. They should be able to tank it while core forming cultivators hit it, and can use off tanking strats to regen Qi with spirit stones. If you have the pet its OP and can just tank it for days.

I managed to barely kill mine with a really good core formation cultivator, the dog as a tank, and all my outer disciples with really good spirit bows. I had to kite like crazy to keep it off my outer disciples, but they were actually doing the most damage.

I do not recommend this method however as my dog went down and my cultivator was out of qi and taking health damage when the demon finally went down.

But still I did not prepare properly. I first sent in my cultivator because I thought that would be enough, then I sent the dog, then the outer disciples. With two core shaping cultivators, the dog, and the outer disciples all at the same time it would probably be fairly straightforward.

I should note that when I say the outer disciples were doing the most damage I mean by a huge margin. My cultivator and dog barely scratched it. Which might be what you are seeing since it's not exactly intuitive that outer disciples can do so much more.

Also it doesn't tend to actually kill so you can always lure it away and only 1 person has to get knocked down. Although in this type of game theres always a chance of instant death. Edit: I mean just like how your guys tend to never kill and you have to manually kill, works same way for them but they don't go for the kill. But then last guy I beat up had: Skull = lost so..

I typically start with the True Sun law, which has extremely strong spells in the early game. Using the dog as a tank you can utterly destroy the beast with a couple firestorm spells (which you get in the Core Shaping phase).

Havnt had the Demon snake yet, but I have fought and killed a Demon Cat and a Demon wolf (think their the same critter, just randomed what animal they are on map start up) AND I did it without a Golden Core.
Get two guys up to Core shaping, wait till you get the Dog and his Qi is at 25k and..... wait for one of those random Immortal comes to visit (must be visitor [blue name] not someone just spying on you) events that pop up. Attack with dog, once fight starts, engage with 2 Core Shapers, and the guest is always so lovely to go over and help out (usually just shields / protects but thats all you need)

I had Demonic tiger and actually killed it with just some core shaping disciples. It got aggro on one of my inner because rabbit decided to auto-tame and then collapse due to cold in winter. I had a wall around that beast and guess what? Some stupid inner decided to fly over and save it. I was unwilling to reload and just started to fly in circles while my other guys attacked it. It took a long time, but it eventually died.

Typically in these cases if I absolutely must kill a demon I will grab a cultivator with a decent artifact and just kite them. If you have some rock formations still standing it should work, though it will take some time.

If you want to act risky;
Just go other to its place directly at the start of the game and punch it once
your gold-protector will have a pretty long fight but emerge (most likely) victorious

Don't let that demon cultivate for a long time, when that demon spawns i always kill it right away using my pet dog as the tank. Never let that demon reach golden core or you will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

You can trade for golden core help from other sect.Used pet + lent golden core + 5 core shaping to kill core beast.

Either you kill it early or you let it cultivate to primordial spirit then kill it for loot (that's what I did)
Punch him to death with body !

I managed to kill it once I got another golden core... really it was mostly the pet exiting childhood and being able to facetank it. Giving outer sect disciples bows was shockingly useful as well, though firestorm from a golden core kinda wrecked it.

I don't even have any animals there and outer disciples still just run over to the only corner of the map where I don't have any orders for them and get themselves instantly killed. I wish I'd thought to build a wall, I'll do that next time.
