How to unlock other basic Laws
As the title says. According to Guides I've read, they should unlock automatically when I visited the old Sect ruins. But It did not, and it's getting to the point where only having one inner disciple seems kind of lame.

Did you camp and enter, or adventure for the secret?

I did both, adventure gave no pop up at all, the disciple just came back right away.

You get a message while going about your business that you think the enemies should've left your old sect compound by now and that maybe you should go back to investigate if anything of interest is left.
That's when you can go to adventure there.
I don't think the event will pop up before that.
As you do, the first adventure pop-up will be a little story blurb telling you that the secret manual storage hadn't been found by the enemy, giving you access to the other laws.
You can also visit the compound itself after that, which I highly recommend. There's a huge mound of building materials to be found.

There's also a secret item in the pagoda that you can find which is a case you can open upon returning to your base, containing a rare stone and a unique item that grants elemental resistances for carrying it.

Managed to do it, had to send a dude over to adventure a few times in a row. While I'm here, any good ways of getting new disciples?

If you select camp they stay there without you having to spam adventures going back and forth. Plenty of disciples if you take over farming land and cities by assigning agents there which opens up later on.

There's also a sort of festival that pops eventually. Sending one of your inner disciples with a lot of charisma and having a reputation will net you a bunch of disciples. The one I sent was a charisma void and I had done almost nothing to get fame, yet I still got 4 takers.
Other than that and what Kenuty noted, you can also persuade all non-hostile visitors to attempt to talk them into staying.

Recruit someone with high cha/ social and send them to start an agency in a city. Can send anyone actually and change them out later for someone with higher stats. May need the quest for agencies I don't remember (village complains about no place to worship).

Immortal Destiny Festival, need high charisma and some other factoring stats for that, you might snag a few prodigy here and there if you are LUCKY
