anyone found a good way to grow the spirit root ?

Yes. Treat the 3x3 of the root like it's cultivator cushions. Maximize the Qi flow to each node of the tree as possible, with the inner layers matching the qi type that feeds the root.

Need more than 5x5 or you get bad soil health messages. You want at least a 7x7 room. Along with matching element with Qi gathering items nearby and the like. And temp control too.

Damn, that sounds like a super cramped room.

I wished I'd had stayed away from the desert biome, i did it all for the dust devil storms but they never came lol, now I'm postponing so many things just for lack of resources....

Each one has certain criteria , certain amount of qi gathered.

Red tree needs temperature over 200
Water tree under -130
Earth over 20 I think
Wood Is the worst has to have between 15 and 25 I think

The tooltips are bugged and show "0 temperature" this isn't true

5x5 is just a guideline , you can have bigger room provided you can keep the temperature right , you don't even NEED a room If you have something like Phoenix feather

Tbh larger the better, 9x9 is probably best. For fire/ ice roots that means around a dozen+ fire/ essence bars so make that 9x10.

You can get a miracle at GC that lets you raise mountains, create shallow water, or... do something else, can't remember at the moment.

I'm building room for wood spirit root and it hard to keep temp except for the winter season
