Inner Disciple Mental State
For every day of training, my Inner Disciples spend, like, 4 days messing around playing Go and dancing in the cotton field. Is there a better way to manage this stat? It's frustrating trying to grow my cultivators and I have to watch them screw around for days on end as I try to get their Mental State back up.

I've learn to just avoid using Balance and Training in general. If you happen to get lucky with the Demon Temple where you get the ability to Siphon "good" vibes from people to increase everything else. Just keep them on doing the play tasks... Saves a ton of effort.

The "mind" task is especially good on those occasions where the person gets tens of thousands of inspiration from a random event.

just get skills with increase mental state, if you go to your equipment screen(the little sword icon) there is a little tab on the side that pops out with a bunch of info on it if you scroll down you can find your base mental state get it over 50 and they can cultivate forever

Doing the mind makes them produce go boards scriptures and music sheets which the other sects value as treasures for trading so its actually really good. You can also improve the mental stat through training like said above or talismans which I found to be very good my guy just bottoms out at 50%~ now and can cultivate endlessly

Is there a way to make them actually manage their mental state? Having to manually swap between mind and something else so they don't drive themselves crazy is kind of annoying, especially when you've got the really long cultivation periods such as post-golden core.
Elysium mod.

nah balance just sucks I hate it myself when I have loads of them i forget about them all the time oh well

It's not really the end of the world if they go a bit crazy. You lose maybe a couple days of productivity, which isn't that big of a deal when you consider the huge inspiration costs you can rack up at higher levels of attainment.

For me the best option for me is just reincarnating characters (made by myself that have a pristine state all the time)... Saves me time overall... Unfortunately... Higher potential/Qi = Faster Stamina losses for some odd reason.

Pretty sure stamina consumption is a flat rate relative to how fast a character is improving. So I think the character consumes stamina per cultivation rather than stamina per time chunk. Therefore high potential characters consume stamina faster because they're cultivating faster.

If you're charcters mind doesn't change and stays good their mood will pretty much at 200 all the time which given enough time will give you the hedonistic obsession

yeah idk why the balance method is in fact not balanced. it basically doesnt work on its own and you have to keep manually flipping it.

Ironically, I would say my characters actually seem to become more unbalanced on "balance" than they do with the regular training command.

I think balanced might be simple 'the same amount of time between the three other states'.

And I think the mind gets more difficult to raise if it gets low.
