Change to reincarnator?

I previously pre-generated some characters for this fabulous game and used the reincarnator function at the start to successfully 'retrieve' them and use them in a playthrough without any problems - they were exactly as I'd created them in the editor.

Ever since the latest update though (which also coincided with me buying the DLC, so I'm not sure which one has caused it), none of my pregenerated characters reincarnate properly - I just get randomised characters for whichever race/gender is selected, all new faces / backgrounds / skills.

Just wondering whether this is a bug or a feature (in which case, would uninstalling the DLC fix it)?

I always have to use the name of the character I created including the gender and name in the same format.

Yes, my first thought was that I'd mistyped it, but even copy-pasting turned up the same result I'm afraid.

The name fields are reversed, unless I'm missing something how Chinese order their names.

In the create a reincarnator screen, if their name is Lao Hansong, then when you try to import them to your new game, you'll want to put "Lao" as their surname, and "Hansong" as their first name.

I think there is a bug with the new patch I am also having issues using my custom made Reincarnated character.

If you go back to the Reincarnator EDITOR page and check the FIRST NAME AND LAST NAME both of them do not contain any space but when you go to the i.e. Classic Game and enter their names correctly i will show A SPACE between FN and LN

For Example

In Reincarnator Page
First name is Luffy
Surname is Strawhat

It will Display StrawhatLuffy this is without the space

BUT when you go use that name in the Classic Game
When you type in FN: Luffy and SN: Strawhat

It will Display Strawhat Luffy with a space

Hope they fixed this soon coz as far as I know there is no workaround that works.

I fixed this by going to realms palace, creating a new reincarnator&saving him, then restarting the game. The local reincarnators were treated as a mod that was no longer enabled, same with my saved blueprints
