Change party order?

I love healing and I love this game - not just for the healing but also kinda bringing back the more complex talent trees that were removed ages ago in wow.

I've long since abandoned wow though and have gotten into other MMOs but the main one I heal on nowadays is FFXIV. On FFXIV I'm used to having a party list order with myself (as healer) at the top and tank(s) below, any other healers and then dps with the F-buttons corresponding to that ordering.

I really appreciate that I can change the buttons for switching party members. I'd like to set it up to be the same assignment buttons as FFXIV so it'd sorta be like fun practice for that without having to deal with any people. I'd like to have F1 assigned to myself but I'm third on the list, and F2 assigned to tank but he's first on the list.

Basically I'd just like the option to reorder the party list or if there's a way to do that already that I've missed please let me know.

Having the order of the party list contradict the shortcut keys I'd like to use makes it very confusing but I also don't want to get used to a different hotkey/party order layout and take those bad habits back into FFXIV and confuse myself there, you know?

nah thanks. this sounds like a you problem.

you can already rearrange the keys. why change the visuellist?

changing the ui cause you are the lazy to play a game different?
plus there are bossfights where the order swaps. and they also swap position, immersion would be ruined if you can put it like you want.


i also dont get why the least important member, yourself would be on top.

maybe the dev do this for you, but i think its a waste of time, ressources, and codespace.
cause this is 100% a YOU problem not being able to change shortcuts without a visuell order that looks like your change.
i can do it. so why not you?

I will go ahead and thank you for letting me know that there are mechanics in later bosses that might make this request difficult to do without messing those fights up. I am only to the first quarter so I didn't know that.

Players in FPS game wanna feel their weapon and impact from bullets/rays/whatevertheyareshoting.
In car-simulators they wanna feel the car, get smooth movement n contact with road, dirt, sand etc etc
In 3th person platformers then wanna get good feedback from any button pressing during the jumping n clumbing, also smooth, but fast camera' angles (thank you, Tomb Raider Legend' devs, u did an amazing works /respect).

In MMO players, especially a hardcore ones, wanna get more space for binds, options to bind their abilitites to ctr/shift/alt+%button%; also, it will be cool if they can move ability-bars where they want n changing their size without an additional mods and addons. Same feeling about smart-casts, abilities-queue etc etc.

Mini Healer ALREADY had TONS of similar moments and micro-moments (that will be really long list, including spell, items, builds managemant too!). Part of them was there at the start, another part was added because of feedback (mine' too, btw: for example, i made a note about Healer' name and "you" word).

I have see nothing wrong with that request.
I don't need that option, but i'll add "+1" to it, because i can feel the player n hes needs. I'm not a programmer, but instinctively thinking that this request is easy to fix (much easier than many other, which ALREADY fixed due players feedback, at least).

PS there could be similar request from ME: about smart casts, about mouse-over healing etc etc. But all of this is ALREADY in the game, so there no such posts. This guy just get unlucky a bit, n theres nothing wrong with that.
