There is no english patch ATM. There is a high chance that would get a official release (The first one got high sales and AliceSoft is pretty willing to get barbarian money (and barbarian are pretty willing to give them money)).
It looks like there are a few sites where the game can be bought. The VNDB entry[vndb.org] lists some. DLsite is a good one, I think. (Well, I've only bought from the English site, so there could be some issue I don't know about, aside from the obvious language barrier.) There are just a few things to be aware of:
* Language barrier, obviously. You can maybe use something like Google Translate to figure things out. For DLsite, you'll need to register. If you have difficulty, maybe there's a guide out there somewhere.
* Expect to pay several times more than what you would pay for a localized version. This is just how things are in general, for commercial games. Japanese prices are ridiculously high, or western prices are highly discounted, or both.
* Payment methods may be problematic. They may or may not accept your credit card, if you try to use one. What works for me on DLsite, actually, is PayPal. You can't use it directly for 18+ content, but DLsite has a point system, where you get points for doing certain things. You can also buy points, at ¥1 each. And points can be used to purchase any products on the site.
* Since this is the Japanese version, and on a Japanese site, legally required censorship applies. Expect to see mosaics.
Also, I was talking about the actual game, if ever get released.
Wonder why Alicesoft decided to try and self-publish here? Maybe they're getting greedy or something, or they don't think they need Mangagamer anymore since they can just self-publish on Steam and get all the money. Whatever the reason it's not good for anyone involved, and certainly not the customers.
Evenicle 2 on steam will be exactly the same game that was released in Japan.
what do you mean why? if anything I'd be surprised if it's not super censored just like what Frontwing did to Yukikoi Melt.
because steam and their ever-changing double standard and that shizz
