"The final boss has two phases. You are healed at the start of phase 2, though you will not regain any missing BP, so do whatever you can to keep your BP high at the end of phase 1. The phase 1 boss can debuff the party at will, which makes Kathyrn's buff abilities less appealing, but bear in mind that the second phase can't debuff you in any way. Note that whenever the Phase 1 boss debuffs the party, he also buffs himself, so you may want to be ready to Cancel. He has two group attacks, one of which always does 666 damage and drains HP to restore his own, and also a regular attack that might hit multiple times.
The second phase has a few stun attacks, and can also become Enraged, so make sure to bring Soothe Slash. It can also buff itself, and the buffs are very strong, but you should already have Cancel from the previous battle. All-in-all, if you can beat the first phase and have Soothe Slash equipped, you can probably beat the second, it isn't much harder! "
I beat the game around level 80 so I dunno how you're having such bad luck, did you get the weapons from that old guy northwest of Central? you can also try spamming fishing spots for weapon upgrades or buy stat boosters from him and get them from megamonsters. As for the other issue I have no clue why it takes so long to sync, you could always disable it if you aren't worried about your data
I never needed any items in this game except from the last optional boss monster.
i managed to beat him at level 60-61 so any level over it should be enough
i had 4 ibeprofuns and 3 BP juice as well as most of the endgame armor
first stage:
aster: neo strong attack as often as possible
has the "soothing slash" for 2nd stage
use boost slash to bait the boss's debuff so instead of attacking he'll just buff himself
ramius: always use "wait" before the boss attacks to get extra tankiness, with some "shield bash" or "ally guard", "neo neo flurry" if you manage to get enough sp and can "wait" until before the boss attacks, get the 1000hp accessory and the +20 evasion accessory, get all the "x1.2 modifiers as well as the shield evade thing
you'll have a tank that'll take all the damage without needing much heals
gurigura: less useful member, use "armor pulverizer" as much as you can but she's useless for the rest
riche: use "fire laser" as well as "recovery rain", "resurrection" is useless for this boss so use that SP for passive skills like 1.3x magic and fire damage
recovery rain is preferred when the AoE attack has hit 2 times
kath: use cancel for every "critical" or bonuses, self BP is useful for the "first aid kit" that'll greatly help in the fight, use it for ramius first then the back row
the whole battle is a battle of attrition, you need to stay as long as possible alive and deal damage here and there, you should only lose the back row when the boss is near dead
ramius is the MVP as her neo neo flurry lance does good damage for what it is and you should be able to strip 1/8th of the boss's remaining health when everybody but her is defeated with such a defense.
you should be able to defeat it with 2-3 ibeprofuns and 2 BP juices
second stage:
same skills, use more healing for the back row, the boss deals near to no damage to ramius now but has more AoE attacks ramius can't protect for others
use the "soothing slash" every time the boss gets mad or you'll lose the back row fast
buffing is helpful but can be overlooked, the second stage is easier in some aspects.
