MagnetoBotty is a modern remake of the ingenious "Kiki the Nanobot", which won several awards at the uDevGame Programming contest. Give it a try if you're in the mood for a good, challenging, 3D Sokoban-like puzzle game offering new concepts in a series of 50 increasingly difficult levels.

For the past eight years or so, I've been working a lot and very happily with the Unity game engine. Since I do game programming purely as a hobby, I've never been concerned with the financial aspect; first and foremost, I want a lot of people to play my game and have fun doing it.
MagnetoBotty is quite a niche project that hopefully will appeal to some hardcore puzzle lovers.

However, with the recent changes in Unity's licensing agreements, I now have to distance myself from the engine. I will look for alternatives (currently Godot looks quite promising), but I will not be able to develop MagnetoBotty further in this form.

So: Download it as soon as it's free, have fun with it and a big thank you to all 138 people who bought this game!

Skip Levels!

Did you know that there are 50 levels in MagnetoBotty (well, 50 and a tutorial)?
How many of them have you seen?
Only a few? Because you got "stuck" in a level and didn't get any further?

Don't worry! Now you can "finally" skip levels that seem too hard at the moment. So you can play all 50 levels (yes -- and the tutorial).

Only the last level ("Evil"), is not skippable -- that would be stupid. Then you could see the lavishly produced blockbuster outro without having accomplished anything for it :).

So: Have a look at all levels, try them and -- above all -- have fun!

MagnetoBotty V1.2.0 - Small Update

Hey MagnetoBotty players,

after three years, it was finally time for another (albeit small) update.
In the current version, I changed the graphics a little and switched to different renderers, mostly in preparation for a level editor feature that is due --- at some point... (But not yet).

In addition to that, I fixed some bugs:

Music volume is turned down when the tutorial speech plays
Privacy Policy link was (temporarily) broken
Some menu items could not be selected with keyboard controls

and I also implemented a new help button (which can be removed from the screen), which will display the objective of each level.
