souls like?

i've been looking for souls like game to play then find this game got souls-like tag despite a vid which shown fps kind of game.
this got me curious. how exactly souls-like this game is?

No. It's a bit short, more a longer demo, with game + and game ++ and bosses can be tricky, but it's not souls like. At the other hand it is really good.

I suppose it's "Souls-Like" in the sense there is a bonfire/checkpoint feature, but that feels more like a nod than an actual Souls mechanic. Bright Memory is more a fast paced FPS than a Souls game like Sekiro or Fallen Order.
