On ongoing save the newly added ships will take much more time to populate your game, if you start new game wit already installed ships, they will start to appear in Stations the same way as Vanilla ships, the game don't make a difference.
About the Campaign map from the Web - make sure this is the updated Campaign map and not the old one. I really can't tell when Momo reworked campaign map, so make your research to confirm this is current Campaign map.
Astrox Extended will ruin your game. This mod is heavily outdated and i strongly advise to skip it until (IF) the Author update it.
Also, most ship mods from Nexus will not work properly unless updated. As a baseline, every ship mod before my ATC Ship Pack will souse errors. There was several changes to the ship file from that time and all ship pack before ATC are outdated. Again, they may work to some extend, but i would avoid them if i were you.
I made a Sandbox game with settings, close to Campaign (for my personal use, for testing purpose), so here is the file. If you place this file along the others in .....\MOD\sandbox, it will appear on your next Sandbox creation.

Mod, sorted by date[www.nexusmods.com]
he just got himself a 4K screen so, it be fixed soon.
Any way to "purge" those and/or get the game to refresh the list of ships in shipyards much faster?
A: In game Station Editor
1. Main Menu > Mod Tools > Station Editor
2. When you open Station editor, from the upper raw of names (i suppose you have more than one Pilot save) pick the name of your Pilot save where you want to add new ships. This is important, double check the proper save path displayed there. This will load this specific Pilot save and will display list of stations.
3. Pick a Station where you want to add ships and open it.
4. There are several columns there, the one that is important for you is Ship Hangar on the right side. This shows all the ships currently available for sell in that station.
5. First open an already existed ship and inspect the format. The left field is for the ship file, the second is the price modifier.
6. Now click add ship, The new window will be opened.
7 . Alt+Tab and go to ...MOD/ships and copy the ship file name of the ship you want to add. Copy all the name, like ship_data_(ATC_Supremacy).txt or whatever. Alt_tab back to the Editor and add that ship file name to the first field. Add modifier. < 1.0 means more cheap ship, 1.0 > means more costly/expensive ship.
8. Repeat for more ships.
9, You can open another Station and add more ships
10. When you are ready, lower right corner of the screen > Save Changes before exit the Editor.
Load your game and go to that station.
B. Editing Pilot Save file.
1. Outside the game, go to ...MOD/saves/YourPiotName/stations
2. If you know where you Station is (Sector number, Station number) open that file, if no - open a file and remember the name of the Station, you will have to find it later in game.
3. Under the
// SHIP HANGAR;count;Price_modifier;Ship_filename
<HANGAR>
add the ship/ships you want to buy at that station, fallowing the format for already existed ships.
4. Save the file, enter the game and got to that station.
*edit - i dont have any idea why those file paths appear as links
Edit: it worked great, thank you again
