Really? expansion content for sale while still in early release?
I bought this game a year ago in early release and really enjoyed a lot of aspects and have been waiting for it to be finished... and now i notice expansion content for sale? C'mon Jace - how about finishing the core game? This game taught me a very valuable lesson about buying early release games.....

Can you point me to that "explanation content for sale", I somehow can't find it.

so... the real lesson here is to ask questions before jumping to conclusions.
I would never do that. I have not done that.
maybe it's for a different game? It ain't from me.

I was just trying to figure out if this was a high-quality troll post or the guy really got fooled by something he read.

i think it's just that steam EA has burned so many players, that it doesn't take much for them to think they got scammed again.

I have seen neither offers for paid spaceships or a $400m fundraising target, so you're still OK in my book momo.

Yeah, maybe Mr. Troll thought he was on the Star Citizen forum. :)

A possible explanation is confusion with https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/10533/Astrox__Space_Miners_Unite/ that bundles the old Astrox game that sounds like a DLC.

I agree. I've just been watching the posts about the launch of Captain of Industry and somewhat bewildered by the presumption of scam that runs through some of them. But I've been burnt myself by EA and so am pretty cautious these days. I can image slightly hotter heads than mine jumping to conclusions based on misunderstandings or misidentified red flags.

That is the advantage of a solo person doing this.
Momoguru (Jace) only has himself to answer to, so no big wigs in suits demanding the money they invested into the game to start seeing some returns on their investment. Seen it so many times games being unfinished and being pushed into released state because of the powers too be.

Jace could just pull the plug on the whole game if he so wished but I can not see him doing that.
Remember he is creating a game that he wants to play with the things he wants to see in it, first and foremost. We are along for the ride, he has a vision of what he wants it to be but also uses us to help get a better perspective on things.

He is so passionate about this game, I reckon he will keep going no matter what, he wants it to be a success for himself and for us.

Keep up the great work Jace and thank you.

He probably thought the Miners Unite collection is a DLC/Expansion for Astrox Imperium. :D

I appreciate all the comments. I'm not being a troll, i'm an honest fan and owner of a cool game that has been in early release for a long time. In steam, there is a new offer (currently $9.99 for me) entitled Astrox: Hostile Space Excavation. It is bundled with the original priced at $14.99. Maybe my understanding of DLC or expansion content is flawed... Certainly this game is unique being apart from traditional publishing processes and thus, it is what it is. Excellent lesson for this feller.

Respect brother! no hard feelings or lost love :)

Astrox: Hostile Space Excavation, was the first game from 2015 or so. it started as a browser game ;)
