finding ships / TF-2 TF-3

How do you find who is selling which ships ? I spent the whole eveing visiting every space station in two sectors (orange and green) and could not find a single TF-2 or TF-3.
Are they locked behind a skill wall ? (which doesn't make sense cause I can see Carriers and not fly them).

Right now, only visiting space stations and seeins what is out there. The Lounge tells you when a new ship is being sold.

No finder has been added as of yet.

I was thinking that I'm only ever seeing ##-1 and no ##-2 or ##-3 of any description. are the 2 & 3 behind a skill barrier ?

The game is still in a testing phase so only low tier ships are in game for testing purposes at the moment. Additional ships will be added in for higher tiers at a later phase.

Of course, players can always submit their ship designs to Momo for consideration as additions to the game. It is better to submit a handful at once. Also, if you submit 5 ships with a similar design you can submit them as a gang and they can be used for raider patrols.

interesting... i've been flying a dreadnaught class ship that i found last May and have just been pulling it forward with my character when i restart the scenerio to incorporate the latest updates... i had no idea that they were no longer available in game!

All the classes are available still. Each class has multiple tiers. So you can have a tier 1 Dreadnaught with additional tiers still to come. Just imagine what a tier 10 Dreadnaught could do.

that or train a bit and move on up to a larger class of ship...

The ships themselves do not level up. You will get the skill from the university to let you buy a higher tier of that class.
