At some point an "Early Access" label cannot justify the massive incompetence and negligence for a bad product, this should be specially the case when said product was completely abandoned.

You cannot sell things like that, take all the money and then not delivering on the product, this is a textbook definition of a scam. However is found to be responsible for this should either refund the money to the players or go to jail.

Or you could have an ounce of personal accountability. You could decide you're not going to spend money on a game when the clearly stated terms aren't acceptable to you. You agreed to buy a game that was obviously failing before launch with the sudden switch to Early Access. Then you decided not to refund when all doubt was removed about it's condition at EA launch. And then act like you've been wronged when the obviously failing project failed.

KSP2 is dead. Long live KSP1.

I will never buy any early access game in the future. Valve should shut down this function.

indie early access games are great. only cs:2 and ksp 2 are failed.

don't be so harsh, but just take a look at the game and the devoloper before buying. If it is a big company behind the game who goes EA, don't do it! EA is for indi games, small studios and so on. Nothing with a price tag above 30€ should be EA ever!

So, EA is fine, just be careful with the lable. No AAA game should be ever bought in EA!

well…it’s still a gamble either way. take Vampire Squid who made MEATGRINDER. game didn’t receive an update for over six months despite its price tag and is still in the dark for longer without any subsequent updates. it all depends on their past history in games, not just the size of the company

I'd like to wager this game won't be much different by 2025. Most of these updates are small and only every 3 or so months. Still waiting for the bigger updates, but I'm staying faithful as I can.
