the core loop has been in this game from day 1 - the semi-realistic spaceflight/building.
the mod frameworks are all there now as well bc the KSP2 modders began working on that from day 1, and never stopped for a year.
weird how these ksp stans can't see what's right in front of them? i guess they have some other agenda in here, like simply trashing the game and undermining the significant amounts of work put in by a lot of ppl... simply bc they don't have the same name as their established ksp modders, all of whom left the scene years ago.
That very likely boils down to people probably not being aware of how huge KSP1 is and how even larger KSP1 is with mods. Or simply newcomers that don't know anything about the genre and saw the trailers and just bought it upon that info.
It seems some people just need the new, 'shiny' version even if it isn't up to par with the old one.
Perhaps, hopefully the devs will pull their fingers out and work on having a solid base game so ultimately we will have a good KSP2 experience in a not so distant future, but this last year has been pretty depressing in this regard.
KSP 1 is just plain better in pretty much every single aspect. Hell, even the UI is better (ugh!),... really only buy KSP 2 if you want to support the development (at this point, please don't....).
In a few years KSP 2 may be on par, or even have a feature KSP 1 does not have. Now? Pass.
Edit: The word "depressing" is a perfect match when thinking about KSP 2. It is depressingly lackluster.
It's best to ignore this one.
the funniest part about this is when the OP openly admits to refunding the game, so they already have no interest in discussing this topic, and are purely here to spread negativity about ksp2
I'm definitely looking forward to this game being completed.
Sadly, I think they are in denial. I hope they prove me wrong, but the way Nate talk, it seems as if they think the game is perfect already.
