Kitten Space Agency, with the original creator of Kerbal, some modders, and even an engineer from space X. Plenty of videos already available on youtube. It looks fantastic. KSP (the real one) is back and it's not in the hands of Take 2 scammers.

For development purposes they use Sol as a reference because they have data against which they test their simulation but my understanding is that the final game won't take place in Sol.

I bet they won't throw the Sol system away.
If development succeeds we will most likely have Real Solar System around, some way or another.
