T2 shut down ksp2 developer studio
Good luck to all the people who thought and still think they were not scammed and that ksp2 will ever be finished or stand up to what was promised.

Based on Steam policy for Early Access, Steam has to remove this game, because it cannot leave Early Access anymore (no active development).

Except that it's still actively being developed and has been confirmed as such on twitter, yesterday.

Didn't know Nate was a necromancer.

Just take it easy , and calm down. The game will be updated for many years.I think KSP2 will be a better game , then KSP1 sooner , or later. This news means nothing

Well, it seems to mean that after june 28th, nobody will work on this game anymore. I don't know about you, but in my world this means the end of any project.

Regardless of how bad the game is - never tried KSP2 (always seemed hardcore unfinished and had very lofty goals) - this means everybody who created this software here...is not unemployed. Or soon will be. It's very hard to believe that someone else will pick up the torch. This is clearly the first real sign that this project has MAJOR issues - logistically.

A twitter post means very little in the face of such real world implications. :steamsad:

The new Steam policies allows to refund early access games up until 2hours play time.

I have 50 hours. 49 hours of bugs and glitches, and 1 hour of unfinished product.

Well, it was obvious from even 10 minutes of "gameplay" so that's on you.

Many developers in the past have done this to milk the game as much as possible before they ultimately cancel it after closing a studio. I have many games from Early Access where that occurred.
Just because it's still on Steam for the moment is because the parent company is still "assessing" what to do, more than likely they'll state they're continuing active development for the game, and after 3 months they'll come back and say, due to budgeting and development schedules we regret to inform the player base that we will be cutting KSP2 from active development at this time.

World's Adrift is a great example of this

"this news means nothing" my guy the entire team behind this game just got turned to dust, even if we get a new team they're going to be years behind trying to fix all the stuff this team has absolutely fumbled over the last 5-7 years.

At least I can say for sure that KSP2 will be the first and last game I buy in early access. From now on, the word "early access" has come to mean the same thing to me as landmines and fraud.

I hate to say it, but probably not. Your lying to yourself.

Hahahaha, I told this to everyone before that this is going to happen. I got downvoted, ridiculed by the copium boys. And you see, I was right all along.

At the beginning, I was also considered a hater. I wrote that this is most likely how it will end. Looking at the delay of the premiere and what state the game was in at the beginning. I was accused of lack of faith, etc. Where are all those who believed so much that something would come of it and posted positive reviews. As a result, more people fell into this trap set by the publisher.
