What is the current situation?
Hello. I bought the game when it first came out and it was unplayable. I want to continue with this game because I like the tutorial system and interface more than Ksp1, but what is its current status? Is it playable or is it still unplayable due to performance problems and bugs?

May I recommend taking a gander at the other forum posts? Clearly, it's all positive. Not a single complaint whatsoever.

I skimmed through it, but generally they don't criticize properly. They either defend too much or complain too much. I think I can get real information if people express their thoughts under this post in a non-toxic, honest way.

Hard to give an advice. If you still own it, try it yourself to see yourself.
If you refunded it, i can't suggest you to make a choice since it depend on your expectations and your luck. Some people get plenty of bugs, some other pretends to get any bugs. So ...

I also bought it at the beginning and u was one of the lucky ones that never had so many bugs. I had some but it was playable all the time. The last month I installed Ksp1 and a lot of mods with it to make it look better. It was fun, but now I'm back again in Ksp2 for 3 days now, and it feels so much better. It looks so much better and sounds so much better. Ok some features are still missing, and I would say the next update or patch should arrive few days ago... But I would say give it a go. I have also some mods installed for Ksp2 to make it even better. Yes, for me Ksp2 is the future and worth playing.

I still have the game. Because I find that Ksp1 is very lacking in content and the promises of Ksp2 attract me. I'd love to hear people's experiences before downloading.

The game is playable. It is flawed. Development is exceedingly slow.

it's greatly improved over the initial release, hence the drastic increase in review scores - which i would suggest are a more reliable metric than the "regulars" in this forum

Went from unplayable technical alpha to somewhere into alpha in a year, out of all the features that would set it appart from KSP1 (excluding the current bugs some of which being gamebreaking) none are here yet.
I'm pondering which of the two games between KSP2 and Star Citizen will reach 1.0 first at this point.

KSP1 lack of content ? Seriously ? With all the mods !?

On the official forums they showed a blender animation with 3 models rotating and a planetary backdrop a few days ago. They called it colonies sneak peek.

Bruh... that's not how "content" works.

Hahaha. I have no hopes for Star Citizen. XD

Well... I don't quite understand what it has to do with the rotating models but colonies are made me buy the game. Soooo... Pog? I think? :/
