Kerbal Space Program 2

Kerbal Space Program 2

What about ksp2 refund, is there hope?
Since ksp2 was early access some people, including me kept the game as a hope that itll get better (bad idea which i now regret) but now since the dev team is gonna be laid off, i dont think there is much hope for the game actually getting better? so will valve do something in order to compensate a refund for this or are we truly cooked

"We" told you it was a ruse, since the very beginning, "you" chose to ignore the warnings.

Go read the TOS for EA games and let this be a learning experience.

Not really but it is what it is...Had they priced it at 20€ I would be on the same boat, but we would not be having this conversation for 20€, I know I would not...

Its the risk you take when supporting EA games... i bought it cause it was the only hope of KSP2 becomming something decent. (to get revenue to continue funding)

But lets be clear, that was hope based on a dream and not reality :D I fully expected this game to never be finished because, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.... was it released in a dogshite state after years of delays.
its really disappointing since they promised such huge things and failed to deliver it properly, the game got as many as buyers just due to the reputation for the first ksp game

A "ruse" would be something they planned from the very beginning, this is just a complete failure. And those like me who paid $50 nothing more than gamblers.

But yeah, Early Access means they can abandon the game and don't have to give refunds. That's probably why it's still for sale on Steam - why announce that the game is dead when there might be some suckers out there still willing to pay for it? It's disgusting.

Hope ? Nope. Neither for refunds nor for KSP2.

The only, very bitter, hope left is that some people who deserve it get blacklisted in the industry, for that.

You can get a refund from Valve, if you make it a manual process, rather than automated. Don't be annoying, but do be to the point and explain what the situation is and how you feel scammed.

They will point to the 2h rule, but give you a refund either way probably.
Worked for me,... did get like 5 "no"s first, but finally found a rep that did understand how scammy this looks and how bad this reflects on Valve.

You mean like releasing a tech demo disguised as something that "had to be released because we could not stop playing..." playing what exactly, loading simulator? And for 50€ no less?
Straight up a scam, T2 never intended to release a working product, otherwise they would have noticed by 2020 that the team in charge was not going to cut it.
Huge delay for naught, remember the "lithobraking near you in 2020"?

I followed the development for KSP2 for a while as a long time fan of the first game. I was pretty darn excited for it, because what they had cooking seemed pretty promising. It was delayed a few times, and then announced... it would release in Early Access which seemed extremely odd to me since it didn't line up with where they should have been in development.

Then we find out EA will not have any of the new features that were expected. And this is where I became pretty sus of the whole thing, and chose to not buy it. It releases and it's a mess. Something had clearly gone wrong during development.

I wouldn't be too surprised if T2 got fed up and forced them to release it in early access.

So long story short, I dodged a bullet with this one. Things got way too weird with the development of this game for me to trust it.

Game looks like a scam because it launched with none of the new features they promised.
"dude it's EA do you know what EA means?"

Game looks shaky because all the trailers are sub-30FPS
"dude they'll optimise it later, be positive!"

Game is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ because it runs 20FPS on one of the fastest gaming CPU on the market.
"dude it's EA do you know what EA means?"

I'm not sure how they'll optimise it since it's using the exact same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and physics engine as the first game but doing a LOT more.
"dude they'll optimise it later, be positive!"

and now...

I tried 2 times and got rejected due to the 2hr thing, how did you do the manual?

This guy is the real deal, 13 hrs playtime according to his review... but no mouse icon so it was refunded.

I don't recall the exact steps, but to replicate you need to contact customer support (steam) and you need to explain articulately and exceedingly politely why you should get a refund. I've managed to do it before too... was a few yrs ago but valve always has discretionary power to issue a refund to you in the interest of customer retention. As long as you don't make a habit of it.... When they do this they are basically taking the hit for you... they won't get reimbursed by take2 for out of procedure refunds. Good luck peeps.

Hi, i have started the manual process myself and have gotten a few "no"s but am still hoping i'll find someone that understands how this is a scam, may i ask what you wrote in your message to them? I myself have written how i got just a lil bit more than two hours but just because it kept crashing or taking ages to load, out of that there was merely 10 minutes of gameplay or maybe even less, and also i pointed out that with it being developed from someone who made the first ksp that it was very nice and kept going for years no one expected they'd abandon the project like this in just a year, so i feel scammed like everyone else who believed in ksp 2, but now it's just a blatant scam, they're taking the money and abandoning the project; if there is anything more i could add to have higher chances i'd appreciate it if you could point it out, thanks in advance
