that was my worry, its pooly implemented, its basically a one and done, and you HAVE to rely on missions for the big science points, HUGE SHAME.
Im not changing my review to positive, i was going to but this is just some paint over a turd, theyve not implemented science in any meaningful way
People seem fixated on other more common bugs.
What can anyone do really but put the game back down or play around the issues?
Ive been to muns poles/minmus poles and got nothing, it tells me the science has already been colected.
exactly my experience, first time is fine, then going to any other biome for science yeilds nothing although you do as you say get the flsak promt.
Really hoping this is a bug and not "working as intended"
Science works differently in KSP2. Only biom specific science is when u are landed, or taking surface sample (or dicoverable). Everything else is low/high atmo/space, but just celestial body, not per biom as for some science experiments in KSP1.
For minimus i found 5 bioms but no Poles which is strage, i though there should be one. Since flags are not visible in TC (at least for me) i cant check names but there is new one for minimus which is Craters.
I really hope this is a bug as there is absolutely no point in exploring right now, just land a probe on every planet and you're good
