Paul Furio, KSP2 Tech Lead, first layoff from the KSP2 team
Paul Furio, the KSP2 Tech Lead was laid off, and maybe more could follow, as cost cutting program was announced by Take-Two:

What gives us a bit of hope, Nerdy Mike had this to say before the layoff was announced by Paul

In light of recent news, we at Intercept Games want to assure the community that KSP2's development is continuing as planned and we will continue to provide updates about the game throughout the coming weeks and months. Our first patch is scheduled to be released shortly and we will have more information on that in the coming...

Yeah, not easy being a KSP2 fan.

I hope we get to see KSP2 at least reach the end of the roadmap...

Don't know man, you just don't do this sort of stuff when many are on the fence about buying into the promises of KSP2's roadmap.

First the outrageous asking price for an EA at this development stage.
Now the layoffs...

This ain't looking great.

But I'll take what you wrote under advisement. I have no qualms with people making themselves look less than impressive.

Still dodging the subject and going for ad-hominems i see.
I think you have one serious misunderstanding here. I'm not having any kind of discussion about the point you made. I just saw some serious grammar issues and pointed them out.
I honestly don't care about people's opinions on what is currently happening. But if you feel as if I am attacking you then I apologise.

It's a DOA early access cash grab.

Anyone with a brain should refund it now.

funny, I understand both sides of you, but definitely not getting good vibes about that.

And in all honnesty, I'm happy that the asking price was so high, so I used my money on a smaller but fun Early access game to play where devs are actively responding in the forum, listening to their community, and the game is almost bug free, and a perfectly achievable
6-8 month roadmap, due to the current state of the game.

And this KSP2 forum is really worth checking only for the :steamsalty: while grabbing popcorn and drinks for a small pause into other games.

All of that is really bad looks for a game. Honnestly there are 3 things I check before buying a game.
- A few gameplay videos / reviews
- Reading Steam reviews with significant gameplay from poster where I obviously dismiss fanbois and haters reviews
- Reading the forums. If a forum is that awful as this one is getting, it usually has a great impact on me siding with NOT buying the game.

There KSP has about 100% bad points. Scott Manley (that we all know it's even hard to make it more fanboi as him for this very game) even had hard times supporting where the game is as of now. The forum is a mess, and reviews.. well we all know where it is...

I've seen this happen with so many other games, they always assure us the game will continue with a PR statement right before shutting it down. BioWare did it with Anthem, Square did it with Babylon's Fall... now I'm starting to see a lot of people getting upset they can't get their refund past the 2 hour window because it's starting to look like doom around here.

He doesn't care but still types back, funny man. Get down your high horse, well written words can only mask trolls for so long

ffs.. I disagree with the people saying to refund, but I agree with you guys about the grammar idiots.... Stop worrying about how people talk and type and worry about what theyre saying. And if you dont understand it, ask. Anyway, take care all!

Yo, why no refund though ? KSP2 was my biggest hype and i'm a bit sceptical about Take2 taking the lead.

My reasoning is: they don't need the money, this is not a small indie company. Also, the only pressure we have as consumers is our wallet. If we buy the game now, then they'll have no reason to update the game and actually deliver on promises.

Its fine to refund. I meant that I personally am not going to refund. Sorry lol. You all can refund if you want, or no. Makes no difference to me mate! Good luck!

Not asking you to, i simply explained my reasoning. I'm just asking for yours if you want to share, you seem like a genuine person
We're talking about a game that makes mini documentaries boasting about themselves before it's release. I mean that should say everything right there.
Thrice Mar 8, 2023 @ 12:00pm
Oh I get it. Sorry!

Im not refunding, even though I dislike the current state of the game, for 2 reasons.

I trust this dev to get it right eventually.

And $50 isnt much to me (Not bragging, just saying Im ok with losing it if this turns out wrong). For those whose $50 is waaay more precious, Id suggest waiting a few weeks. Ive said that before, but got blown off as a troll lol. Take it as you will, and thanks PC Principle.
